This place is not that different than back home is it?
Perhaps not Larxene. Or, would you rather I refer to you as Renela for the day?
Heh, only if I get to call your flowery ass Lumaria, such a girly name.
Yes, though my mother liked it so I won't complain. I prefer Lu, if that compromise is available.
-Marluxia and Larxene were walking along the cobble streets near the lovely NYC brown stones, the little sections of the city with its tiny home gardens and more urban feel being rather charming. They were joined by Elena and Leslie several feet behind, who were just as happy to take in the sights. A place so familiar in some ways to back home, and yet, so different that it brought whimsey with every click of brick. Elena herself was enchanted by the many different types of birds hobbling around in the near by Central park that the group was heading past, humming with an adorable point of her finger, as she passed some soft looking fir bushes that resembled Christmas trees that were not quite ready for harvest yet.-
This city seems so full of life. Did we have this many types of trees and animals back home?
Don't think so. The tree mice with strange tails are interesting.
-Mumbled Leslie, as he too was partially enamored by this place. As many of places as he had traveled with The Don, he had never gotten to see many animals from other regions of Gaia. Even so however, he knew for a fact an animal like that did not exist anywhere back home. Larxene rolled her eyes in mild amusement at the pairs fascinations with the new environment, laughing as she adjusted the sleek looking Kimono she was dressed in. Credits to Mansex, he seemed to know how to pick out something that looked rather fine on her. She hadn't known what to wear for an event like this, and apparently there leader smartly asked Marluxias opinion on her likes and dislikes. Long flowing robes of Sunny yellow, electric blue, and lilly pad green graced the silken cloth in patches almost appearing as though it were painted on in sleek water colors across white canvas. He had even bothered to ask around about her personal symbol- A lime green-yellow dragonfly was stitched into the cloth resting elegantly on a cat tail in a forest of reeds overlooking a gorgeous clear spring day. She refused to admit how such the image reflected how she wished to feel inside, Free. Dragonfly's always seemed so powerful, full of life, and possessed the freedom to go where ever, whenever. She didn't know whether to get a bit soft on the big man for having thought about her and the rest of the organization, or be bitter towards him for reminding her what he kept from her. She grunted as she lightly knocked into Marluxia, having gotten distracted in her thoughts, not realizing everyone had come to a stop.-
Ow. What are we stopping and gawking at now?
The roses.
-Chimed Marluxia whom immediately glided ever so gracefully through his own form fitting robes right to a small grove of over a dozen rose bushes in a rainbow of colors. That had been her flower, dearest mother. The peach colored ones had been her favorite, and Marluxia had just spotted one that would have made her day if she were still alive. Gently he reached out, pinching the delicate flower from the thorny branches and slipping a small folding knife out his sleeve that he kept on his person in case of emergencies. Softly he peeled the thorns away from the stem and ran his smooth feminine fingers along the feathery blossom, sighing contently.-
Its lovely.
Huh... it is isn't it? What's the meaning behind that one? I know you know.
-Muttered the nymph, causing Marluxia to grin softly. She had picked up while starting to get to know him that he had an affinity for flower language, and sometimes would inform her of some of his favorite flowers. This one, was very special.-
