I love this world uncle! They have everything here~
Yeah? Glad you like it kiddo. So, you gonna tell uncle what you've been up to since I've been gone?
Hee-hee, I've been really busy.
-Chimed Alisse, practically twirling around like a child as she followed after her beloved pirate relative. They had so much to catch up on, and the thought of it made her rather excited. The man mildly smirked at her coy comment, roughly moving out a hand to ruffle her hair as he laughed.-
Oh I see, gonna make me have to beg to now?
You know it! Information isn't cheap for pirates uncle! Now pay up!
-The man couldn't stop grinning, and his companions were quickly noticing. Luxord and Kairi (who had bubble in her arms) were trailing along behind the pair of excited fools. Luxord trying not to smile too hard at how happy Xigbar and the girl appeared. It had been a long time since Braig had looked like that, probably since before Luxord had joined the Organization.-
You heard her 2, what will you give in exchange for her life story without uncle?
-Xigbar didn't take that probably how luxord had intended. His smile quickly vanished, replaced with one of a sharp frown. A life without her uncle... That was something he refused to allow.-
What would I trade? Easy, a life where that's doesn't exist. How's that?
-Alisse paused at that, seeming to be processing what he said, only to practically tackle hug the man, causing him to softly grunt.-
That's the best trade I've ever had, uncle Braig. When are you coming home?
-The man frowned more at that, he couldn't give her that hope, only to take it away from her... could he?-
Eh... I uh...
What is it?
-Luxord stepped in, not wanting Xigbar to say something foolish and hurt the girl.-
Alisse dearest, uncle Braig has a lot going on that he's trying to sort out in his life right now. While he can't be with you every day, I am sure he could make arrangements to see you regularly while he handles his personal affairs, if that would be acceptable?
-Xigbar was about to tell the gambler off for speaking for him, but, it appeared his risk paid off.-
Only if uncle promises we go to dinner once a week and talk, like old times.
-Ah, that was something Xigbar fondly remembered, well out of the few things he did remember that was. Weekly dinners with Alisse, her mother Morgana, Rikotsu and- Xigbar blinked and scratched the side of his cheek slightly. Who was the other person? There definitely was one, Xigbar almost thought he could feel it... A mild shutter ran through him as he thought a fragment of memory surfaced, but only for a brief second. The smell of rain, bourbon, soft blonde hair, and pale smooth skin... Hands over flesh, and devious whispers...It rocked Xigbar in a way he hadn't felt in years. But... who, who was that person? He noticed the staring and quickly shook it off, trying to replace back his silly grin.-
Sounds like a blast. Hey uh... Ali, we used to have those dinners with yer mumma and Rikotsu right?
Yep! And sometimes other people if we had guests. Hee-hee I remember the times other pirate crews would join us for dinner for negotiations, dad was a genius at getting the best deals on territory and trade! Do we still have the big island back home uncle Braig? If we do can we build a house on it?
-Rikotsu had wanted a small house on the beach for Alisse to grow up on. For years he had barked on about buying the cutest island to build a home on, clearly she had remembered. And indeed, the island did still exist, Braig himself had the deed, and he had been using the strip of land as a home away from home at times where he was playing his little game of world hide and seek with his goofy leader. He won every time with that spot, and refused to ever tell Xemnas where it was. The thought of actually making a home there for him and Ali, that felt... nice.-
