"Master Kieron?"

"Yes Aqua?"

"That woman, the one whom comes here often, the one with the darkened ominous aura, who is she?"

"That is my sister Morgana, why do you ask?"

"Are you not... afraid?"

"Hm? What would I need to be afraid of?"

"Well master, are you not afraid that with an aura like that, she will corrupt the light here in the castle? Isn't it dangerous?"

"Of course not. You've been listening to those fools down at the council again, haven't you? They seem to like to talk as though they know anything about the principles of Light and Darkness. They should actually pick up a book sometime, instead of instilling fear into people."

"I see... then, will you teach me? About the Light and the Darkness?"

"I could, if that is what you desire. How is Ventus doing? I heard you got him to speak the other day while on a walk of the town."

"I did! He's doing better, it must be really hard on him... Losing everything you love to a war like this, especially at his age. I can tell by the way he looks at people, he cares deeply for there suffering."

"Be kind to him, as I have always urged you to be, one as young as he is can fall prey to true evil in times like these."

"True evil master? What do you mean?"

"Its been permeating, Aqua. I can feel it in the air, in the streets of our home. Something foul is coming, something that could threaten all of us. We all need to be vigilant and stick together. We cannot risk losing trust in those we care about in these trying times. The war, I suspect a true evil initiated it from the start. Sometimes, I can hear the whispers of those whom have left this planet, whispers of warning."

"I want to hear all that they have to say, Master Kieron. You are the only one here whom has ever looked after me, I trust you more than anyone. Master I..."

"Hm? Aqua?"

"Master, I want us to... I want us to be like this forever. I think I love you, Master."

"...A long time ago someone said something much like that, you should be careful with that love, Aqua, give it some time, I am sure it will fade eventually."

"I...I don't understand. Have I upset you? I'm sorry master..."

Are you sure? I of course won't stop you, I don't even believe Xemnas would blame you... as long as you are careful.

-Zexion had finished telling Vexen what had happened this evening, the man tried not to smile to himself as he thought about his adoptive sons will power to hold out this long to see his childhood friend.-

I'm not so sure about that, Vexen. It was one of the strictest orders we were ever given, not to engage with Somebodies.

Ha! Please... You really believe that man listens to his own rules? You should know better by now my child, there's an exception to everything around here.

Heh... I am concerned about 13's interactions with them. I doubt that just because I informed him its against the rules to talk to somebodies on a personal level that he will cease.

This may be true, but this also may be helpful. With 13 as our third party liaison we may be able to figure out how much they know about us so far. We will just need to coach the boy.
