Well, its not quite what I was expecting.
To be fair, I don't believe it was what any of us were expecting. Truly reminds me a lot of back home in Midgar when it still stood tall, don't you think?
Perhaps it does. And not all in the best of ways, director.
Hm. Speaking of that, congratulations with accepting the position Vincent. We should celebrate you know.
Celebrate? Your the one who seems more thrilled about it than I am. I prefer not to be in this line of work anymore if I can help it, however I have sympathy for Tseng. The mans been working non-stop for decades, much like I used to.
-The pair of older Shinra executives were leaned against a brick wall a few feet away from a certain excitable Scotts accent cat-bot. The robotic feline in question had decided he wanted to spend his afternoon in the big apple entertaining little children with there parents via his fortune telling "expertise". Little boys and girls were giggling mad as they got to pet the kitty and have him send them away with good tidings free of charge on this comfortable breezy autumns day. Reeve couldn't help but chuckle as a toddler waddled up to the cute little robotic intel agent and gave him a smoochie, causing the cat to giggle with the little one and give them a big old hug, much to the awws and delight of there parent, whom were taking pictures of there little girl snuggled up to Cait. While Vincent's expression appeared lacking, he was genuinely content wandering the city with the pair like this, it over all having given him quite the time to think about many things, especially the subject at hand. His words came again not long after his initial statement.-
He looks happy.
As happy as he can be as an artificial intelligence. He seems really taken with children doesn't he? Starting to think I should have made him a Shinra daycare attendant instead of an intel specialist.
And what about you? We all know his creation was founded after yourself...
-Reeve paused, confused by Vincent's words.-
...Are you asking me if I would want children? Hm... I guess I've never given it much thought. Though, I am getting older, perhaps some day I will look into adopting. The life stream only knows how many children have become orphaned due to my mistakes...
Going to take all of Shinra's sins on your back? That is something I advise against.
Speaking as someone who's been there?
Speaking as someone who's been there too long. Nothing you can do will take back what's been done, the only thing you can do is move forward, for yourself and others.
-Reeve simply smiled softly, shaking his head. Now if only Vincent could take his own advice. Seconds later sweet Cait was skipping over waving some polaroid photographs that had been gifted to him by a few of the street goers, whom had stopped to chat with him. He was attempting to help them develop faster by literally shaking that polaroid picture.-
Ai what a lovely city this bein' ol' friend~ I could get used to livin' 'ere.
Ha-ha~ Sorry Cait, unfortunately I don't believe regular travel here will exactly be an option. You look as though you've had quite a bit of fun however. Souvenirs to take home?
Hee-hee, some for sure. I be needin' at least one memory to bring home right?
-Vincent shook his head mildly amused... memories, the thought that they could be anything but painful was something the man had forgotten all these years that have passed. Seeing Cait so joyous and having spent all this time with Reeve recently however was a rather pleasant reminder of what could have been, and what still could be. He seemed to hesitate for a moment, before mumbling softly.-
