"It was 1000 years ago, do you remember?"

"I do. And I have failed, gracious Celerus, Mother of all Stars. Please forgive me. Perhaps humans really are too flawed to achieve requests from above, But I..."

"Kaleiodias."

"Yes?"

"You can't really believe that, can you? You, Keiron, Morgana, the last children to rebuild my own sons lost world. If you give up, what will I do?"

"But you are creation, what wouldn't you be able to do? Mother Goddess, creator of humanities dreams and wishes, keeper of our secrets, and merciful bringer of unconditional love... what is it we three can do, that you cannot?"

"Do you love humanity Kaleiodias?"

"I do! Your teachings have always said, love my brothers and sisters, no matter how cruel and hateful they may become. What does that have to do with-"

"I love humanity too, very much. This, wasn't supposed to happen. I, am the one who failed, Kaleiodias. The thing you can do now, that I cannot, is to bring them all back together. My loyalest of followers, you who never stopped believing in me, never faltered, I am sorry. I cannot be there to save humanity, because I am grieving. And even through this grief, I don't want to give up, not yet, but... he is gone."

"Grieving?"

"Even Gods grieve. I may be the creator of this universe you call home, but, I am not the one who made the world you lived in. This was his world, his dreams. Please don't let those dreams die with the human race. Please do what I cannot now... give me the strength. If you can do it, I can too."

"Goddess... I don't understand. How can I be strong enough to save this world, but not you? Who is it you are grieving?"

"...It came from below, a monster here to take everything from all of us. It took away... life. My son... Star of life, Clarity. It from below came crashing through our world above. He is gone now... not a trace of him. Its different to watch from a distance; when humans lose someone, I always know they come here, with me. That one day, those below will come too, and not be lonely again. But, what happens when a God dies? Where is it they go? Long ago, I thought I would know, but he is not here. All trace of him, is gone. You, Keiron, Morgana, and the abyss below, that is all that remains of the dying world left behind. Please, help him. Find the source of the evil below trying to eat what remains of my boy... I... I can't look. I don't want to see what is left, what other failures I couldn't prevent."

"...Promise me, when it is all over, I will come home to the stars with you too. Do not be sad Goddess, he must be out there somewhere. Wait for me, I will bring him home, bring all of us who are lost out there. Morgana and Keiron... They will help me save what is left, we will bring Clarity home. Just promise me, when we return, you still have a place for us, we imperfect humans."

"There will always be a place for you, and everyone it is you love. Show me how to be strong again; a humble request, from a foolish Goddess."

...

/A figure, whose sadness and suffering knows no bounds, looked up to the sky to see a raining of falling stars traversing across the sky. The figure, on there knees, screamed out to the heavens./

"Please! Help me! I will do anything! I... I just wish this hadn't happened... She promised we would be ok of I did what she told me!"

/The figure crumpled down into a heap, barely able to see anything, as the swirling darkness devouring the landscape, swallowed them up into its intoxicating abyss. Moments later, several of those very stars, seemed to halt on there path, frozen, as if for that instant time had stopped. And then they were off again, down, down into the abyss, after the voice that called to the slowly staining ceiling of clouds above. The sonic like woosh of there movement could be heard for miles, diving down deeper, deeper, and deeper, until the one whom had cried out for there mercy, was no longer cast in shadow. A trio of bright lights, desperately searching, until they had found him, a man. Two of the lights veered off into the darkness, never to be seen again, but one, one stayed, transforming. A figure now resided within the light, standing on bare feet surrounded in this sacred power, cutting through the dark and defending he whom had called them. An angel, a holy defender looked down at the figure below, whom was too weak to rise and walk./
