The concert is tomorrow, what will you do boss?

I'm not sure. I don't know if I can trust them Dancy...

You don't really have much of a choice do you? Correction... we don't have much of a choice... Do you really think they will backstab us?

It depends. I... I want to believe that 15 is telling the truth. Something about him just seems honest. Sure the other ones a bit weird and creepy, but I think at least 15 is ok. How did things go while I was gone with the wind bag?

Hee-hee, must you always call him that? You know Lord Xaldin only acts the way he does with you because you cause trouble and stave off work.

I wouldn't have to if things weren't so draining. Its not like I'm actually Lazy Dancer... I just have too much to do. You know that.

I do. You work really hard, I'm... I'm really proud of you.

-Demyx and his assistant Dancer were seated up on the Altar together, staring out at the giant glowing heart in the sky while seated on the hedge like stone railing. The pair had not had much time to catch up in recent weeks, and it was taking its toll on both of them from not having someone to confide in. Demyx paused at the others last comment, before his cheeks seem to become slightly rosy.-

I uh...thanks.

Of course. You... you remember the promise you made me, right?

I do. When we make it out of this, don't worry, I'm going to make sure your well taken care of.

When? Don't you mean if?

Ha! Thinking we won't? If things go right, we will be sitting on a beach somewhere catching the sun, napping, and feeling the breeze. Man I could use a vacation...

Hm... Master Demyx?

Huh? Aww Dancy, you know you don't have to call me that. Whats up?

I uh... why did you agree to that anyways? You don't exactly owe me anything...

-Demyx blinked at that, pausing for a long moment before those usually bright crystal blues seemed to darken slightly, now veered towards the ground. He was silent even a moment longer, before murmuring back softly.-

Lets just say I don't have a very good track record of keeping decent women in my life. Most women, honestly I can't stand them. They drool over me at concerts like a slab of red meat about to be cooked over a smoking rack. I... I appreciate you, and you deserve someone to take care of you, even if there's nothing romantic between us. You remind me of someone... I miss that person, and well, I don't want to see anything bad happen to you too. I know this place isn't a great place, and I don't know what Xemnas plans to do with the lower ranks, because the upper ranks seem to be the goal priority.

-Dancer was now the one to go pink, adjusting her frizzy pink cap gently.-

That so? You've been so serious lately boss, makes me wonder what other little secrets you've been hiding, I didn't know you could be so motivated.

Heh...it helps if you have a solution, and if 15 and 16 are telling the truth, then we do. but, even if not... lately, I've just come to realize that maybe there's more to everything than just getting out of here alive. Well you know, aside from having my life outside of here in tact. Maybe some relationships here are worth fighting for, and, I know you are worth it, even if I can't get your heart back.

Boss...

-She was so touched, she wanted to hug him, but she wasn't sure if such a thing would make him uncomfortable, so instead she just sat both her little pale hands in her lap and folded them together almost shyly. It was a shame a man like that swung the other way, he was so handsome, and kind... even if at times he could be so eccentric and arrogant. Ah well, not like she could talk, she was the type who swung both ways, and she could clearly see his possible attraction to a certain gruff loner who manned the kitchen.-
