They spotted weakness in me, I was careless.

Having a headache isn't weakness, your being melodramatic. What are you, Xemnas?

-Saix sucked in a sharp breath, glaring daggers at Axel for that comment, whom was seated on his bed with cotton in his lap plopped on a plush pillow; Saix himself was seated at his desk chair.-

How dare you.

Heh, my point, was you are not weak. You've had this issue for a while with the headaches, people are allowed to have issues Saix. Now stop letting that creep get under your skin. ...You uh... want me to handle them?

No. If you go instead of me, it only further makes it appear like I cannot handle myself. It gives that snake exactly what they probably wanted.

-Axel sighed, and here he thought he was usually the competitive one who participated in dick waving contests.-

Don't go being reckless on me, will ya? Otherwise whos going to get me out of jams when I've taken it too far huh? Got it memorized?

-Saix was quiet for a moment before mildly shaking his head with a soft smile, seeming to have come back down to earth a bit.-

At least one of us remembers I keep you in line.

Ha! In line, your the worst influence here Which is exactly why I can't be having you going off and getting yourself in trouble. Its my job to cause trouble and get put in the dog house, and its yours to keep those sharp eyes out for our backs.

Right... as its always been.

-Saix seemed to have calmed even further, almost as though this were something Axel knew to do to keep the others head on straight, maybe. Or perhaps neither were even consciously aware of it, it was just built in, as it tended to be with well bonded friendships. One didn't have to think about what the other needed in a moment, they just knew, and did whatever it was to set things right. Axel was in the middle of playing with the bunnies floppy ears, flopping them around back and forth while looking down at her and not up at Saix.-

So, when are you actually going to tell me what causes those anyways? I could find something to-

Its not important 8.

-Axel stopped, letting go of the fluffer's ears, causing them to droop and her to let out a mildly saddened little squeak, she liked it when he did that, ear rubs felt nice. Axel was now staring up at Saix, those sharp greens not looking too pleased.-

It is too important. Why do you have to be so stubborn?

I can handle it myself, I simply have to-

No, you don't. We are in this together like you keep saying right? Stop hiding shit from me Saix. Between this, the weird dreams you refuse to talk about, your past... The most I even know is that you grew up in Radiant Garden... Why is everything such a big damn secret!?

-Axel gently moved cotton and the pillow from his lap to place it down onto the bed, mostly so she didn't get hurt in case he decided to slap the bed with his fist. Everything he was asking about were questions that burned at him for years. He trusted Saix more than anything, what could be so bad that Saix felt he needed to keep things from Axel? Saix's headache had been receding while talking to Axel, but now the confrontation about the things he had been dodging all these years now brought it back fiercer than ever, if anything, it was worse than how it had felt while talking to Shaddow and those other two buffoons.-

Axel this is not the time for-

Shut up. I've been waiting all these years for you to tell me, I thought if I was patient enough that maybe you'd trust me too. You apparently want us to throw ourselves at one another but you can't even tell me what's going on! ...Saix... are you ill? I...
