Chapter 51 A Date and a Copy Cat

No one's POV
It has been two days since the incident happened. Tomorrow will be your last day in the hospital to your joy and relief. For the last two days, everything is going slow and boring to you. Except for after class hours where the class- exception of Todoroki and Bakugou- will visit you and head home after, leaving gift to you.

You are currently at the garden still in a hospital gown and wrist band attach to your wrist. It's a green with a white square on the center. A sign that the person is a patience.

You is sitting in a wheelchair and Kaminari behind you, holding onto the handle of your wheelchair. It was a surprise to see him arrived at your room at 9 in the morning. He is dressed casually and not in his school uniform.

He offered to walk you out to get some fresh air when he saw you in a wheelchair with a nurse to keep you accompany. 

"You sure you won't get trouble for this?" you asked. You and Kaminari are now outside the hospital and now heading to the garden to enjoy the warm breeze.

"I have my ways. If they asked, I can just say that I got sick and can't attend for today."

"But your a hero, training to be one. Wouldn't this affect your grade. And this isn't best way either. Skipping school, especially when you are learning to be a hero."

"I can catch up with them. I have time. Also..." He make sure to stop near a fountain and make sure that you wouldn't rolled off before coming to your side.

"... I wanted to see my friend. Is that hard to ask?"

"You can visit me later you know. You don't need to skip school."

He though for a moment before smiling. "Nope. If I did, then I wouldn't have time to send you here." He said looking over to the tree near the fountain they are in.

You look over to the direction Kaminari is looking, seeing a blanket is place on the grass and a picnic basket. "What is this?" You ask with a hint of joy. You giggled happily seeing it.

"I though of having a picnic as our first date."

"... Date? I didn't agree to that, yet."

"Yet... But I want it to be a surprise." He said and went back behind you and move the wheelchair towards the tree.

He help you settle down on the blanket as he took a sit next to you. "I know this is sudden."

"Glad you know." you joked out. Kaminari chuckled embarrassed while looking down. Not making eye contact to you.

"... I have a feeling that this is a perfect time to do this."

"There are a lot more time in the future. Right now, why won't we enjoy this hour as friends." You said to him. He was sad to hear you say that he is just a friend. He felt like before he can even confessed or say what he is feeling, he is already friendzoned.

"We're friends? Nothing more?" He asked you. Still hoping that you might change your mind.

"We're young and we don't have time to be lovely dovy couples." You said to him. "Besides, I don't want anyone to get into my life. Because if anyone did, I might regret something I shouldn't have."

In fact, when he said that he planned this for your first date. You have a painful feeling in your chest, where the heart should be. You didn't know why, your mind just got blank all if a sudden.

You don't know what to feel about it. You don't know if you are happy, confused, angry, or sad because, you don't feel anything. Just like your blank mind, you feel nothing but pain.
