FINALLY!!! Senior year! The year where you can rule the school, now that you're top of the high school chain. You can make underclassmen your own personal slaves. Some people look up to the seniors, while others run away from them. You can say that I am excited to be known as a senior ..... but then .... I'll be lying ..Okay, let's start from the beginning. My name is Scott Jenkins. You can say that I am an average teenager who has bunch of friends ..... yeah ... well, that's not me .... You see, I am classified as a geek, or a loser, or a freak, to mostly the senior class. Before high school, I've been that average teenager who had bunch of friends. But once freshmen year came, everything changed. Wanna know how it all began?
*Freshmen Year*
First day of high school. Walking through these hallways, I can feel my maturity level rising. I feel like I just evolve. I was once Scott, the pre-teen who played with hacky-sacks and drank soda while lounging on the couch and watch Nickelodeon. Now I am Scott, a grown teenager who will probably hang with more grown-up teenager and go to wild parties and drink alcohol and smoke the good stuff. How do I know these stuffs? Let's just say my best friend knows a lot of older people. And he was still in middle school.
Roaming the hallways to find my locker, I watch the things that is happening in my surrounding. Some girls who I remember back in middle school laughing and talking loudly how excited they are about high school. A boy and girl kissing against the lockers .... did I just see a tongue? .... A boy passing something to another boy secretly .... is that a bag of powder? .... weird .... As I reach my locker, which was took some time to find, a hand was placed hard on my shoulder. Screaming loudly, I turn around and saw my best friend, Nolan, laughing his head off.
Nolan Philips. My best friend. Been best friends ever since kindergarten. Never had any serious fight with each other. Every year, we would have all classes together and the teachers would say that us together can cause chaotic, which we usually do in class. They try to separate us, but that usually never works. Me and Nolan are complete opposite. He has black hair. I have blonde hair. In middle school, he participated in many sports activities and I would be reading books. Despite our differences, we are still best friends.
"That's not funny, Noel. You scared the living daylights out of me!"
Wiping fake tears, he said, "Dude, you scream like a girl."
"I do not!"
He stares at me, with his eyebrows raise
Whispering, I said, "Fine. I do."
"It's ok. I still like you bud." chuckling, he said. "Man, there's some hot chicks here. You see that babe over there. She looks damn cute."
I look to where Noel was pointing at and saw a girl, who looks older than us, talking to this two other girls. Shaking my head, I went back to put some things in my locker.
"You know she's probably older than us and a lot more mature than us, right?"
Sighing while leaning against the locker next to mine, he said,"she is so gorgegous."
I close my locker and grabbed my schedule out of my bag. "What are your classes Noel?"
"Hmmm .. let see .. I think I have History for 1st. Then uhmm ..." He takes out a folded paper out of his his pocket and un-fold it. "Yeah, I have History for 1st. Math 2nd. Lunch. Gym 3rd. Science 4th. And Music 5th."
"We only have 1st and 3rd together. Well ... lunch of course."
Laughing, he put his arm around my shoulder. "Well, let's go to our first class of high school, buddy!"
