Nolan dropped me off at my house after our time at the pool.

"Despite being almost 4 o'clock in the morning and being tired as hell .. I still had fun today .. I mean yesterday." I stand in front of him as we are in front of my door. He deeply laughs, wrapping his arms around my waist, pressing our bodies together. Nolan gotten a little dazed off when I asked him about children. Instead of answering me, he just went back into the water, bringing me in with him. He distracted me, playing some more water games, but I've notice his avoidance to the question. I quite felt bad asking him that question, because I know he wants children. Who doesn't want children?! I, myself, wants children and spite being gay and wanting a life with a man, adoption would have to suffice.

"I had fun too babe." He kisses me. I clench my fist onto his shirt, pulling him even closer to me as our lips heatedly move with each other. "I can never get enough of your kisses." He speaks against my lips, pecks it a little.

"Ditto baby."

"I'll let you get your rest, beautiful." I nod, taking off his jacket.

"No. Keep it." He stops me from handing his jacket to him, leaning towards to kiss my forehead. "Goodnight, Scooter."

"Goodnight, Nollie." One more kiss then I watch him walking towards his truck. Before he gets in, he throws me a wave and a wink, earning himself a wave back to him. After he leaves, I walk into my house, heading straight to my bedroom. I quickly change out of my clothes and into my pajamas. Wrapping Nolan's jacket around me as I get into bed, I couldn't help but to cling the jacket that's around me, smelling his lingering cologne on it. Instantly, I fall asleep.

*************

Music plays in my room, the sound of buzzing appears besides me. After several times of hearing that, I finally make it stop, getting out of bed and reaching towards the sound. My phone shows a incoming call from Granny Adams. Sliding the screen, I place it on my ear.

"Hello?"

"Scott, it's Maddie. Why didn't you come pick me up last night? Did something happened?"

Yawning, I stand up, stretching my other arm and back. "Didn't Granny Adams tell you?"

"No."

Huh .. I sworn I texted her last night.

"Well, I was out all night with Nolan. I'm sorry Mads." I head down to the kitchen for some breakfast. "Mads, I'll pick you up.." Just then, the door knocks. Walking towards it, I open it up, seeing Xavier standing there with an anxious look. "Mads, I'll call you back, okay?"

"Okay, Scottie." The call ends. Putting the phone in Nolan's jacket pocket, I fold my arms, staring blankly at Xavier.

"What are you doing here?"

"I need to talk to you. I need your help." Xavier scratches the back of his neck, avoiding my scowling gaze. Why does he need my help? He's been avoiding me and yet, he thinks he can come here and ask for my help and that we need to talk.

"Now you want to talk? After avoiding me for so long?" I was about close the door, when Xavier suddenly stops me, pressing his hand against it.

"Scott, please.." He sounds desperate, pleading to me. I just stare at him with the still blank look, holding the door as well.

"Scott.." The pleading still hangs in his voice. ".. I really need to talk to you. I know I've been avoiding you, but please let me explain." Looking at him for a quick second, I sigh, opening the door wider for him. Didn't say anything to him, I walk to the kitchen. I can hear the door closing, then his footsteps, following me. I didn't even acknowledge him when I make breakfast, for him and I since now, I got company. "Scott.."
