Xavier P.O.V

It's been two weeks since Scott and I had that fight. Neither of us ever tried to contact the other. I guess I'm still mad and hurt that he didn't believe that I wouldn't cheat on him. But let's face it. At this point, I don't think I believe myself either. If only I can prove it to him that I didn't do anything, but it just seems as though that everything that happened on Saturday, I just can't remember it. I've notice that since Scott and I separate from each other, he've gone closer to Nolan, seeing him talk to him at times when they pass through the halls and sometimes during class. Whenever he pass by me, he would completely ignore my presence, not looking at me or not greeting me. Since then, I haven't been thinking straight; practices I've missed a lot, school work I completely ignore. We had a game awhile ago, and yet, I didn't go. I didn't have the strength and mind to go. I asked around at school, wanting to know if anyone remember anything at the Halloween Bash that deals with me, but no luck.

I was currently in the locker room, wiping myself down from my shower. After school, I decide to stay back and let out some steam in the weights room. There was no practice for the day because there's a rainstorm, so no teams were here. I wanted to run on the field, but it's raining hard out, so the weight room would have to do. After putting my shorts on, I grab my muscle shirt from inside of my locker and close it, grabbing my gym bag off the bench.

The rain stills pour heavily outside, is before heading to my car, I walk to my other locker and get my pullover hoodie jacket. I hear voices as I closely walk to my locker. It's like someone is yelling. I see Oliver coming out of the other hallway. I get to my locker, opening it up and grabbing my jacket. I, then, open up my gym bag and throw my shirt in it.

"Dad, you were supposed to pick me up an hour ago!" I see him yelling through his phone. He stops in the middle of the hallway, then suddenly, looks at me. I gave him a wave, which earns me a small smile. I put my bag on the ground as I shrug on my jacket. Oliver starts arguing again.

"Dad, I can't stay here any longer. And I can't walk because it's raining hard outside." I shouldn't be eavesdropping on someone's conversation, but it's hard when the other person on the other phone is yelling and he's like close by me. "Whatever. I'll just walk in the rain then. Bye." I close my locker, picking up my bag from the ground. Oliver is no longer in plain sight.

Wow, he walks fast.

I head to the parking lot, putting up my hood once I step out of the building. I got in my car, hearing the radio blast really loudly. Immediately, I lower down the music, don't want to be deaf at 18. Geez, why was my radio on high? I turn on my windshield wipers, wiping off the water droplets, then putting it on auto since the rain is still pouring heavily. I take off my hood as I fix my rearview mirror. Once it's good to my liking, I put the car in drive and drive off. Not too far from the school, I see Oliver running in the rain, trying to fix his bag. I shouldn't leave him in the rain, but right now, I just want to go home and be alone. Sighing, I contemplate on this.

Ugh, I can't leave him like that.

I slowly drive on the curb, following him. He notice the car and stops running. I pull up to him, rolling down my window. "Hop in."

"Are you sure?" He ask, wrapping his arm around him.

"Yeah. Get in." He smiles, gratefully at me, then runs around to the passenger side. Once he gets in, I drive back onto the road, turning on the heater to make it warm.

"I'm sorry for wetting your passenger seat."

"It's fine."

He tells me the direction to his house, since I don't know where he lives. Neither of us talks, just listening to the music playing out the radio. When I reach a red traffic light, I slowly stop the car. Tapping on the steering wheel as I listen to the music, I look out the window.
