Chapter 17

I hear my phone ringing on my bedside table.

"Hello?"

"Good morning baby." I hear Xavier's husky voice through the phone, meaning that he woke up not so long ago.

Chuckling. "Good morning to you too babe. Are you my now personal alarm clock?"

"Ring ring. Time to take that cute arse of yours out of bed and get ready for school." He tries to make an alarm clock noise, but fails miserably.

"Okay. Okay. I'm up. Just don't do that again." Chuckling again as I get up, feeling groggy from my sleep.

"Alright, baby. I'll see you in school."

"Okay." We hung up the phone. Once we got back from Florida, I went to a phone carrier to get a contract for my phone. I put my phone on my desk, then head to my bathroom. I strip off my clothes, getting into the shower. After my cold, yet soothing shower, I walk in my room, grabbing some clothes from the dresser. A grey sweater, skinny jeans, and a pair of grey boxer brief. After wiping off the water from my body and hair, I put on my boxer brief, then the rest of my clothes. Heading downstairs, I fix Maddie and myself some breakfast, grabbing the pancake mix in the cabinet.

"Morning, big brother." I hear Maddie walking into the kitchen.

"Morning, baby sister." I open the fridge, taking out the carton of orange juice. I slide it on the table towards Maddie, then place a glass from the cabinets in front of her. She mutters a thank you, filling her glass with orange juice. After the pancakes are done, we sit next to each other, munching on it with our orange juice.

"Do you have work tonight?"

"Yeah."

We finish eating our pancakes. I take mine and Maddie's plate to the sink. "Mads, get your stuff and meet me at my car. I just need to wash these, then we can go." I hear her feet padding on the floor, walking out of the kitchen. I finish washing the dishes, then ran up the stairs to my room. I grab all the stuff I need; my wallet, my phone, and my bag. I put on my shoes, the one that Claire have bought me for the party. I lock the door after walking out of the house. Maddie's already in the car, waiting for me. Once I get in, we head out.

"I wish it's Christmas." Claire says as we walk into the hallway together. When I got to school, I spot Claire waiting next to her car as I usually park my car next to her.

"Well, next week is Halloween."

"Yeah, but it's nothing like Christmas."

We walk to my locker first. "What are we doing for Halloween?" Claire ask as she leans against the locker next to mine, waiting for me to finish.

"I'm not too sure if I'm working or not. Maddie told me she's going to trick or trick with Riley and her friends, then have a sleepover." I grab some books and shove them in my bag, closing my locker door. I feel vibration in my pocket. I take out my phone, seeing a new message pop up from Xavier.

"Come to the locker room, baby."

"I got to go, Claire. I'll see you in class." I run off the other direction, hearing Claire yelling an okay. Why does Xavier want me to come to the locker room?

I reach the locker room, feeling anxious about this. Well, here it goes. I push the door open, seeing Xavier and his friends. Nolan stands in front of Xavier, arms cross, while the rest either stands beside him or siting on the benches.

"Xavier?"

He looks back, smiling at me, as he calls me over with his hand. He pulls me by the waist when I get close, holding me there. "Mates, we are dating." I watch their expression automatically turn to shock; their eyes bulging out.
