Chapter 15

Out of all my high school experience; me winning in the ACB, becoming SBA president, I would never thought to have a boyfriend. Boyfriend? Feels weird saying it in my head. It's like an alien to me. You know the butterfly feeling you get when someone you like is now yours? Yeah, I'm feeling that right now as I watch Xavier throwing a red ball to metal bottles. Before this, we were walking around until I see a gigantic panda bear in one of the game booth. Xavier saw me looking at it, so he lets go of me and starts walking to the booth.

"What are you doing, Xav?" I ask, feeling kind of excited inside.

"Well, I saw you looking at that panda.." Pointing to it while looking at me. "..So as my very first job of being your boyfriend, baby, I'm going to get you that panda." Smiling widely towards me, taking off his jacket. He got me red like a baboon's butt as he was given three red balls to knock down all 14 metal bottles. He has one red ball left and there's two more bottles left as well. The 2 bottles are far away from each other, side-by-side. Xavier angles his position. After he feels like it's a good position, he throws the ball, making it curve. It hits the one in the right, making it spin to the left slowly. I watch closely, hoping it hits the other one. It's so close!

Just before the bottle falls to the table, it tips the second bottle, making it fall as well.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

The bells ring as the red light flashes. "Winner! Here you go, sir." The man hands Xavier the gigantic panda bear.

"Thank you." Xavier smiles, turning to me. He hands me the bear, leaning forward to give me a kiss. "I won it for you, beautiful. Just like I said I would." He says as his lips are still onto mine. I initiate the kiss this time, feeling joy from receiving this panda bear by my boyfriend. My boyfriend won me this panda bear! Wow! It still feels weird saying it, again in my head, but I hope I get use to it. We break the kiss before it could get more intense, knowing that we are surrounded by people and I don't think they would like two guys getting it on in the middle of the carnival.

"Scott?" I look behind Xavier and see Claire and Calvin walking towards us; Claire has a big smile plaster on her face. Then, I notice something; something that makes my eyes widen and immediately look at her face as she still smiles excitedly. Calvin's hand is entwine with Claire's hand.

"So .. What did I miss, ScottieBoo?" She asks, eyeing me and Xavier. Xavier laughs, then puts his arm around me.

"How's your night, you two?" He ask.

I watch them both blush as they look at each other, then look away as the contain their redden cheeks; I smirk the entire time. So I guess I'm not the only one who did something tonight, huh? I've known Calvin for about a year and half. Even though we didn't become President and Vice-President back then, we still participated and along the way, we've gotten to know each other. I would say Calvin is a perfect kind of guy for Claire, but that's all on her.

"Uhm ... Our night was good. We had an amazing time." Claire says, letting go of Calvin's hand. "I'm sure you had a amazing time too." She looks at me, then to Xavier.

"We sure did, right love?" Xavier looks at me; joy glimmers in his eyes. I nod, smiling towards him as I lean against him.

"Well, it's getting late and Scott and I have plans tomorrow." Claire states.

"We do?" I ask her, confuse to the plans I wasn't aware of it.

She slowly nods. "My family function remember?"

I don't remember being invited to Claire's family reunion. Maybe, she had told me, and I wasn't paying attention.

"Oh. I completely forgot then." Scratching my head.
