"Well, I gotta go." I lean forward, wanting to give him a kiss. I was shock that he complied, leaning in to kiss me. Even this kiss sends sparks all over my body and I don't want it to stop. But I have to, knowing that if I keep continuing, I wouldn't stop until my lower region is satisfied, if you know what I mean. I break the kiss, looking at Scott's dazed face. "See ya, Scott." Walking to the other side of my car, getting in. Turning the car on, I pull up the emergency brakes, then putting the gear shift to 'Drive, or D.' I look through the passengers window, seeing Scott still standing there, watching me. I wave goodbye, driving away from Scott's house.
I pull up at my white, fenced-in two story, house. You all ready know that my step-mum works as a doctor at our local hospital, but my father on the other hand, he works in a law firm. Yes, my parents are very successful in their occupation and make lots of money.
"I'm home." I shout aloud, walking in the front door.
"Hi dear." Mum walks out from the kitchen, covered in flour. Eyebrows raise. "Baking, I see?!"
She laughs embarrassingly, nodding her head. Then, as she realizes something, she looks from upstairs to me. "Oh sweetie, Noel is up in your room. He wants to talk to you, but you weren't home yet. He said he'll wait, so I let him in."
Perfect. Just the guy I want to see. Nodding my head, I smile at her, then head up the stairs. I could her feet padding the floor as I step closer and closer to my room. I abruptly open the door, frightening an off-guarded Nolan, who was on his phone.
"What do you want, Noel?" I kick off my shoes by the door, hearing Nolan ending his phone call. "You've been out of your head, friend." Nolan says, walking towards the bed to sit. I scoff, leaning against my bedroom wall.
"I'm out of my head?! Sure, Noel."
"You are. I have been noticing lately that you're acting different. Not to mention, your distance with us and the guys."
"Jeez Noel. Sound like a nagging wife. It's not like I'm going to be around you guys, 24/7. I can make new friends, can I?"
Things are not looking good for Noel. It looks as though he's dropping his facade. I knew there was something different with him once I started talking to Scott.
Realization hits me, hard. I get off the wall, pacing back and forth. "This is about Scott, huh?"
My thoughts are exactly correct, seeing that I caught Nolan off-guard with that question.
He chokes on his saliva. "What! No! Why would I want to talk about that geek?"
"Hey! He has a name! And last time I check, it wasn't geek!" Getting all defensive. Nolan angrily stands up, face fuming with anger.
"Now you're defending him. What's got into you?" He gets up in face, slowly but surely. I can feel my own anger, rising in me. He thinks I need a reality check!? Sure, if he gets one for himself. If he wants to get up all in my face, then I'll do the same.
"What's got into me?! What's go into you? I happen to like Scott. He's not what you made him out to be. He's nice, smart, caring, and did nothing to deserve your hatred or the others too."
"Let's remind you that you're a victim of his suffering too."
"Yeah, I was. Past tense. And I apologize to him. I didn't even why I bullied him, but the past is in the past. I can't change that. So right now, I'm fixing my mistakes. And so should you."
"Why should I?"
Frustrated, I pull my hair. "God Nolan! What did he ever do to you?!" Can't retain my, now, shouting voice cause of this argument.
