"Can we talk?" Xavier ask desperately.

"Dude, what the fuck man?" I hear someone shout from outside the ferris wheel carriage. I look at him, dead in the eye, folding my arms.

"No."

"Then, I'll just stand here and hold up this line until you agree to talk to me." He states, calmly stands in front of the door. He actually has to bend a little because of his height.

"You can't. You see you're holding up the line and the guy who's in charge isn't going to allow that." I smugly smile, knowing that any second he would be drag away from the door, so me and the other waiters can have their turn on the ferris wheel. And I was right. Damian .. Or is it Daniel?! ... whoever's in charge grabs onto Xavier's arm. "I'm sorry Xavier, but you are holding up this line and people are complaining. I'm gonna ask you to either get in or move." He thinks for a second, then abruptly gets in, closing the door as quickly as he can.

"Okay. Start it, Darren!"

Oh Darren .... Right! ... Wait ..

"Wait! Stop! Let me out!" I shout, grabbing onto the closed door. Darren smiles, cheekily. "Have fun, Scott." Then, my carriage starts moving, slowly rising to the top as many people gets in.

Asshole...

I angrily sit back as the ferris wheel goes around, scowling at the smug Xavier. "Now that I'm here, love, we can talk, huh?"

"There's nothing to talk about." Stately saying as I fold my arms.

"So ignoring me like the plague is nothing to talk about?"

"I'm just trying to get things back to normal."

"What does that suppose to mean?" Questioningly looks at me with arched brows.

"I mean going back to when it's only Claire and I, and you never talk to me, hang out with me, just laugh at me when Nolan and the rest bullies me." Looking away from him, feeling slightly sad, but it's what I have to do.

Silent fills the air as we still go around in the ferris wheel.

"Do you really want that, Scott?" He whisperingly ask. I just stare at him. The light illuminates enough for me to see the emotions in his eyes. In his eyes, I could see sadness, confusion, hurt in them as he keeps my gaze. I just shrug my shoulders, looking out the carriage to see the view of the carnival. I was conflicted about all of this. Even if Xavier and I were to be friends, or even more, it wouldn't be right. I'm not in his type of people; my title or standing in school doesn't go with his.

"It's for the best, I guess." Looking away again. I just can't look at him without feeling like an ass. He'll understand, right?

"That's bullshit, Scott!" He angrily yells. I was shock. This is the first time, hearing Xavier yell. I guess I deserve it, right? He thinks I'm being completely stupid and stubborn, but my stubbornness and short temper causes me to get slightly angry.

"Who the fuck think you are!? Why can't you fucking leave me alone? It's not like you never done that before, acting like I don't exist every time I'm in trouble because of what your band of dicks did to me." Giving him his fair share of yelling.

"Bloody hell, I apologize for that! What else do you want me to do?"

Shouting at him, getting red in the face from anger. "NOTHING! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LEAVE ME ALONE?!"

"BECAUSE I FUCKING LIKE YOU!" Shouts back, jolting off his seat. That causes the carriage to move, swaying back and forth. In a state of fright, I try to look for anything to hold. The fear of heights starts coming back to me, making hyperventilate. Xavier sees my frighten expression; his eyes widen, because he immediately sits next to me and holds me, trying to calm me down and stop hyperventilating.
