Chapter 41

Hailey? Is back!? This is not happening. The girl that used to torment me whenever she was with Nolan. The girl that stole my man from me, even when I weren't together then. When I first saw Paul looking behind us with a shock look, I immediately turn back and see why would he be shock. Because at the first sight of her, I was shock as well. She walks with determination and excitement when she spot us. I automatically stood beside Paul, maybe just a little bit behind him, as I saw her coming near.

"What's happening?" Nolan ask us, looking so darn confused. Then, we hear her.

"Hey Nollybear."

Nollybear?! That's her pet name for him? That's so ... That's so .. Ugh, I can't really say anything because it's kind of cute. Ugh!

"Hailey?" I watch Nolan quickly turning around, staring right at her. I can honestly say that Hailey hasn't changed. She still has the beautiful long brown locks of hair and that cute, loving face. If I didn't know who she really was, I would have loved her. I would have think she's a sweet, nice girl. But I do know her and I hate her stinking guts. Maybe it's because she had Nolan once.

Wait ... Does this mean that he would go for her again since she's back?

Oh hell nah. I was once defenseless. I didn't do anything about my torture and tease. I couldn't. I was hopeless, weak, alone. But being with Xavier and Nolan, they taught me one thing.

"I missed you, Nollybear!" I watch her walking up to him, throwing her hands around him, a sign of a hug. Huffing silently as I watch her squeeze him tight with a big smile. Ugh, I just want to go to class already.

Saved by the bell! Thank goodness. Nolan lets go of her, pushing her slightly away from him. By the look on her face, she didn't like the distance between them. An idea pop into mine and it causes me to smirk wildly on my face. Feeling the confident and excitement, I walk up to Nolan's side, locking out hands together. He stares down at me, looking confusingly at me at first, until he saw what I was doing, now smiling wide, staring at my mischievous eyes.

"We should go to class?" Asking sweetly at him, wanting to get a reaction from Hailey. Nolan, shocking me on what he did, kisses my forehead, giving me another smile.

"Let's go." He's start leading me away. Before we got away, I throw a smirky smile at Hailey.

"It's good to see you again, Hailey." Having a success smile after seeing the scowl on her face when I greet her.

Take that, bitch!

I can't contain the big smirky smile as we walk to our Parenting class. It felt really good seeing that look upon her face. She probably catches on to what happened and honestly, I'm waiting for her to attack. Because I'm no longer the Scott she knew and bullied.

"Scott .." Nolan stops me by the hand on my arm. We let the others enter the classroom, getting some strange, envy, weirdly, jealously looks. It was a good thing we didn't get any disgust look as we stand near the door. All though, we indeed got some before entering the school, which I knew we would. Claire passes by us, throwing us a comforting smile before entering the classroom.

"I didn't know Hailey would return." He grasp my chin softly as I stare at him. "You don't have to worry about her. I know what you were trying to do back there." Wow, I guess I was being obvious. Well, I was anyways.

"Well, I was making obvious." Laughing afterwards. "I know, but if she's coming after you, don't expect me to hold back."
He laughs this time, then place a kiss on my forehead.
