The sound of a honking horn awakes me from my slumber. Groaning, I go back to sleep, snuggling my pillow. Afterwards, I hear the doorbell ringing.
"Ugh!" Huffing, I get up and off my bed, feeling the grogginess. "Who in their right mind decides to come at .." I grab my phone, checking the time. ".. 8 in the morning." Muttering to myself. I head down to see who's at the door. Opening the door, I see Nolan's back facing me.
"Uhm .. Can I help you?" I ask, getting his attention. He quickly turns around.
"Oh .. Uhm .. Did I wake you?"
I give him a blank stare. "Yeah." He scratches the back of his neck, gulping nervously.
"Sorry."
I shrug, sticking my hand in the sweat pants pocket. "Eh, whatever. So .. What are you doing here?" Looking confuse on why he's here. He looks back behind him, then back to me.
"I've brought your car over. Uhm .. Before coming here, I took it to the mechanic. They said that your battery is old and worn-out, so I payed them to change it. Then, I called a towing to drop your car here and I followed."
I look behind to see that, indeed, my car is parked on my driveway. "You didn't have to do that."
"I know. I just ... I don't know .." Scratching his head. I think for a minute, wondering why Nolan is doing this. All of sudden, he becomes softer on me. Just like that. No more bullying. I look at him weirdly, trying to figure out on why, now, he becomes nice to me.
"Why are you being nice to me?"
He just shrug, not even looking at me. "I don't know. I guess it's something to say that I'm sorry." He shrugs again.
"Sorry?"
"Yeah.. For everything." I snort, shaking my head.
"You think that being nice to me is going to make me accept your apology?!" He doesn't say anything. He really thinks that I'm going to accept for what he have done to me for so long. Then, again, all this time, I had a little hope for him and now, looking at him as he stares at me, seeing some emotions in his eyes that says he's sorry.
Sighing, I dishevel my hair even more. "I accept, I guess."
"What?" His face appears shock, confuse, and surprise, all at once.
"I know it's sounds stupid, but I've never gave up on hope. After all these year, I grasp on that hope for a new future with my old friend." He, suddenly, smiles at me, then hugs me. Now, it's my turn to be shock. Never thought till this day that Nolan would hug me and even apologize to me.
"But this mean I don't forgive you. Not yet anyways. Just give me time." I feel him nod.
"I'm glad you didn't give up on hope. And take your time." I smile, breathing in his scent. Mm .. He smiles good.
"Uhm ... I'm interrupting something?!" I look up, still hugging Nolan, and see Xavier standing a few steps away from us. I let go of Nolan as he backs away and turns to see Xavier as well.
"Hey Xav." Nolan says, feeling slightly embarrass. Xavier comes up to us, wrapping his arms around me. "Hey baby." Then, he kisses me; this time our kiss is little rougher than usual. We break the kiss once we need the air to breathe.
"Hi." Feeling daze after that heated kiss. He smiles, kisses my forehead, then turns to Nolan.
"Hey mate. Why are you here?"
"I'm here because I drop Scott's car from yesterday." Xavier nods.
"What are you doing here, babe?" I gaze at him.
