Chapter Two-Runaway
[Think of that picture as their... height difference. ]
He walked through the sand, hands stuffed in his pockets as he listened to the ocean. He was trying to go far away from his thoughts. He couldn't complain about it to anyone, so why not rant to the wind. He was lying to himself, convinced he was fine as he sped up his pace until he was full out running across the sand, his legs pumping and heart racing faster. The wind blew into his face but he didn't care, he couldn't take it anymore.
He kept running. The sand left a trail behind him as he went faster, faster. Like he was running away from his problems, running for a soft place to fall.
He was running away. Fearing what? He didn't know.

"I urge you to get your legs off the desk, Bakugou! Like I said before, this is school property!" Iida lectured, his arms doing those grand chopping motions as he did so.
"Get outta my face, four eyes!" Katsuki growled, using the leverage the desk gave him to tip his chair back, scowling up to the male. "Get the fucking stick outta your ass and leave me the fuck alone."
"How many fucks was that?" Mina asked, turning to Kirishima who turned to Sero who turned to Kaminari who turned to Midoriya who had just walked in as the profanity had started.
"Two." Deku murmured. He was amused, to say the least, that in his third year of UA he had the pleasure to walk in on the same scenario he had on his first day in year one. He wondered if it was a bad omen.
"Fuck you, Deku!" The blonde spat out.
Not like their relationship hadn't gotten better, it had. Much better, actually, they were able to talk without yelling and their last big fight hasn't happened for a good few months. Outside of training of course, when they trained Bakugou would be as violent as ever. But Izuku didn't mind, he was happy they could be considered friends. Rivals, obviously, but still friends.
Kaminari grinned widely. "Take him out on a date first, Kacchan."
Katsuki's eye twitched, raising one hand to pop a few explosions. "Shut up, dunce face, before you're eating out of a straw for weeks. "
That shut the class clown up for the majority of two seconds before he was off to the Bakusquad once more. Bakugou sighed, sitting properly so that Tenya would finally leave but the moment he did he went back to sitting improperly.
Izuku made his way to his seat, forever behind his rival like every other year.
Katsuki crossed his arms over his chest, sparing a glance to the freckled teen. He hated to admit it but over the years he had gained a soft spot for him, one that didn't go unnoticed by Kirishima who was, like always, sending him knowing looks. Bakugou furrowed his brows, not knowing why exactly Eijiro gave him those looks, like he was in on some type of secret. A secret that the blonde was supposed to be in on, but was actually unaware.
Kirishima would never explain why, usually switching the subject or avoiding it all together. The redhead leaned across his desk to Ashido, whispering something that had her glancing to the duo before back to him, shaking her head, no.
None of this Midoriya nor Bakugou saw, both boys in their own world. The greenette wrote in his notebook and Bakugou tipped back on his chair, watching him.
"Dumbass." He urged, causing the other to look up. He spoke in hushed tones. "Did All Might call you into his office?"
"Yeah, at lunch today we both need to go." Izuku leaned up, resting his chin on a scarred hand, wearing a calm expression. "Meaning I get to drag you there even if you're kicking and screaming."
"Like you could drag me anywhere, built like a stick." He sneered.
That was a lie. Izuku was lean, yes, but he had muscles galore. Not like Katsuki's but just as strong. He had gotten taller too, taller than Bakugou, maybe around the cusp of six feet tall where Katsuki still sat at 5'10. Not like their height changed roles in their relationship, right?
                              Dead wrong.
"Want to test that theory, Kacchan?" He asked tiredly, forever humoured by the blonde's angry bursts. He was no longer fazed by it. At least, so he thought.
"Alright Problem Children, let's start this off by saying welcome back you little shits." Aizawa rolled in, yellow sleeping bag still on as alway. That weird smile he did on display. "Get ready for another year of hell."
