Chapter Seventeen- Please notice
"You have a warm heart and such a beautiful brain, Katsuki, but you are not using it right!" His mother chasted, tone pleading as she worked a stove in the kitchen. Her hair was such a beautiful mess, one that matched his.
He sat at the kitchen table, head down on his folded arms as he held back tears. His shoulders were shaking. His mother sighed, lowering the heat on the oven as she moved closer to sit beside him and rub his shoulders. Mitsuki kissed his head, murmuring. "You make me so proud, Katsuki, you know that? You just worry me."
"I can't, mom." The harsh, to others but not them, nicknames they used for each other were put away as they spoke seriously. "I can't deal with it anymore, I don't want to."
Lovers that went wrong, Mitsuki was certain as she looked to the picture clutched in her son's hand, wrinkling the already withered image. The two boys in the frame cuddled close, reading a book when they both should've been asleep. They were so young. Where had the time gone?
Katsuki let out a broken sob, she had held him. She wished she knew where they went wrong.

"Here" Kirishima held the males jaw, tilting his head back to add makeup to the marking. He had makeup and he wasn't ashamed of it, he wore it, he really didn't give a damn about gender roles. To him, anything could be seen as manly, even makeup.
Katsuki's eyes stayed on the wall behind the males head, not meeting his eyes as he covered up the hickey. It wasn't an awkward silence but, much rather, a knowing one. He knew when Eijirou opened his mouth the heartache would begin.
"What did he do?"
Bakugou bit his lip, stifling the on coming rant, the sob. His emotions are stronger than they usually were, making them harder to keep to himself. His eyes flicked to his wrist, Kirishima not noticing, seeing as he was focused on the males neck. His bandaged wrist, the bandages hidden by the leather band. The bandages that a scarred hand had delicately wrapped.
"Nothing."
"If he hurt you-"
"He would never hurt me!" Katsuki's eyes widened, moving back slightly. "Why would you think that?"
"I'm just rattling off scenarios till you talk to me." Kirishima raised a brow, gaze calculated. "Talk to me, Bakugou."
The blonde shook his head. "I can't tell you everything."
"Then what can you tell me?"
They stared at each other, Kirishima set the foundation aside to hold the males face. "I won't judge."
"But I will judge myself." Katsuki pulled his face away, standing up. "Thank you, Kiri, really."
Eijirou nodded, a small smile tugging at his lips. He would forever be the man's best friend, no matter how hard he tried to pull away or brush him off. "No problem, bro."
It wasn't until he was in class later that day that Bakugou wished he said he was sick and stayed locked up in his dorm. Izuku sat in his usual seat, hood over his head and eyes closed. His headphones were on, he could vaguely hear the beat as he walked closer, indicating how loud it was blasted. Kirishima's arm around his shoulders was a comfort, he supposed, as Izuku opened his eyes and looked at the two. He immediately took that back, seeing the look in Izuku's eyes.
Bakugou noticed the tick of his jaw, the small inhale that was a stutter shorter than the rest. He noticed that when he was mad he clenched his jaw, he always noticed and some days he pleaded for Midoriya to notice him. The look in his eyes that held an apology that he could never speak.
Izuku noticed damn right, but he saw deeper than that. He saw the repulsion that Bakugou felt towards his own damn feelings. But, as always, he would never object or speak out his feelings; he merely smiled.
He got up, smiling sweetly as he left the class swiftly, already down the hall by the time AIzawa had arrived, unable to stop him. It was such a genuine smile but Katsuki saw the sadness, the smile never met his eyes but the others didn't notice.
Please Notice! They were both so convinced that the other could see what most couldn't but they were blind to the emotions they set out in the open.
Do you notice I love you?
