"You're a fucking idiot." Was said bluntly and lacked any sort of emotion besides annoyance in the gruff tone it was spoken. But the carmine eyes with sparks of ash spoke differently since they held a tiny, almost stupid in his wholehearted opinion, sense of worry. But it was a very very little worry since a hand soon followed by smacking atop Izuku's head.
"Ow." Izuku winced, squinting slightly at the touch and glaring at the man from the flat, baby blue linen covered hospital bed that was practically reserved for him. His face was bloody, bruised and, quite frankly, also annoyed and partially stunned. The array of emotions were suffocating beneath the fluorescent lights.
Katsuki stood over the bed sighing and pinching the bridge of his nose in annoyance, the cacophony of noise from the other classmates getting checked out and the news playing in the background whistling quietly like a low hum around them. He still wore his hero suit, the mask returning to his hair to hold it back like a headband which revealed the full fledged power of his eyes and expressive sharp brows. "What happened to 'have fun' and 'peaceful battle' and all the shit you usually say?"
"I dunno?" Izuku said dumbly, earning another huff and what felt like the hundredth eye roll. They'd been going at this since having returned from the training with an angry looking Aizawa after having broken up the fight between classes. Before the blonde could retort someone, probably Mineta, yelled.
"Is Bakugou on the news?!"
Two sets of Christmas themed eyes shot upwards, catching the veneer of the screen with its pixelated film up high in the corner of Recovery Girls office. Yet that photo looked clear as day.
-"Well, John, today's story covers a young aspiring student hero, who many may remember from the first year sports festival three years back. Katsuki Bakugou, having triggered mixed opinions from the start, has recently been summoned to court."-
And, as if people have forgotten who he was, there was a muted video of him up on the stage back when he was fifteen, maybe more so sixteen, claiming to beat everyone before the games even began. Katsuki cringed childishly at seeing himself on screen before his eyes widened at what he was hearing, processing the gravity of the woman's words. It's not like he thought of it all the time, if anything it's like he forgot about it until mentioned or felt once more in some way.
-"It's been brought up in court that someone has called to attention wrongful sentencing towards their crimes and has requested, instead of bail, a retrial, or much rather in legal terms post-conviction relief which is quite frankly kinder than what most people would wish for. His name was flaunted in the leaked files. It's a very public matter, the woman herself claiming that the student, who is her nephew no less, unjustly persecuted her when he was just a child with false evidence."-
Nausea crept up Katsuki's throat, his body chilling and fingertips shot through with frost like he was being encased into an igloo prison. He felt frozen, sweat prickling beneath his arms and giving his body a sickly uncomfortable feeling. His eyes set wide in what felt like shock and he found himself unable to look away despite the multiple gazes he felt burning into his now pale flesh. Clenching his fist, he could feel the beginning of sparks skimming over his palms trying to crack him out of his self-made imprisonment, stuck to that same spot on a blinding tiled floor.
-"Mazaki was a young woman, at the brink of her career when these allegations of sexual assault crippled her chances at fully blossoming. She claims that she was sentenced to life, a far cry from your usual charges in this area, and demands a retrial and, if it so prevails, a recompensation for her years in solitary. A letter was sent out across the board, asking to publicize this and ask if this is truly befitting of a UA student growing into a hero."-

FanfictionKatsuki had been through a lot in his life. He'd done things he wasn't proud of, suffered through shortcomings he hated to relive, and was forever haunted by a woman with a shadow that loomed over him like that of a wolf. For years he'd wished for...
