I'm not sure how you do it
How you smile and laugh
And give others optimismYou're like me
You're hurt
And feeling like you're dying
But you don't let it show to muchYou pretend
Maybe that's why I was drawn to you
We have more in common than our top layer
And we're waiting for someone to notice
And finally someone has
And it's not as scary as we thought it would beWe're not going to show many others though
That's off limits
Others can be dangerous
And we have to be ready to run
But we can't do that if we're trapped(5/6/21)
