Logically I know escapism doesn't really work as a coping mechanism
But it's really the only safe thing I can do
Daydreams let me escape this worldAnd yes,
I bring most of my problems with me
But in my worlds I have people who love me
I know I have them here too
My people help a lot
But with Covid and mental health problems
It's easier dealing with my problems in a fictional world
Rather than this oneDaydreams are the only places I feel properly safe
I can daydream for hours on end
I sometimes wish I would just stay up in the clouds and never come down
But I love my people here so I come back
I'm just worried that one day I won't(24/5/21)
