I want to go home
House and home mean different things
But those who have not had to make the distinction don't seem to understandA house is just where you're obligated to stay
Usually as a minor until you can move out
It offers a roof over your head
And usually food in your stomach
And if you're lucky a good host or twoA home on the other hand
Is a place where you can relax
Where you don't have to worry about being safe
It offers cover from the elements
And maybe a trusted person or twoA house you stay at because you have to
A home you stay at because you feel safe there(13/5/21)
