Newt's POV:
After I guided y/n to your her room, I stayed just to make sure she would be okay for the night.
She was laying in her bed with the covers tossed on the floor, while I was sitting on a chair that I pulled up to her bed.
"Newt!" She yelled, completely out of it.
--"Whaat!"
"Beds are comfy."
I laughed,
--"Wow, that's interesting love."
"Why do you call me that Newt? Do you love me?"
I could feel my heart drop and a crimson color creep its way to my cheeks.
--"W-what?"
She bursted out in a fit of laughter, "Your voice is funny Newt!"
--"You're funny Y/N. You should really try to sleep."
"I'm not tired Newt. I-I'm sad. I really am." She was crying now.
--"Why Y/N?"
"Newt, I'm going to do what you did,"
--"What do you mean?"
"I don't know. I think want to jump."
Tears welled up in my eyes, but she was oblivious and thankfully didn't notice--or maybe she should've?
--"Bloody shuck Y/N! Don't speak like that. I wouldn't allow it."
"But maybe when you're sleeping, so Newt won't know. Don't tell him okay? You worry too much Newtie."
What she's saying is really breaking my heart, she can't truly mean this.
--"Why are you bloody saying this Y/N?"
"Saying what?"
--"What about me Y/N? How do you think I would feel?"
"You wouldn't care Newt."
--"Y-yes I would."
"I wish I could sleep forever. G'night Newt."
She wiped her tears then trailed off into a deep slumber.
