Newt's POV:
I lifted my knuckle to knock, but before I could, the door swung open. Y/N engulfed me in her arms and cried into my chest, and can I say, it was the best feeling ever.
To be truly wanted by someone you thought didn't care you existed.
To be held close by someone you thought was too perfect to be touched.
To be trusted by someone that would always seem too distracted to even talk to you.
To be squeezed tightly by someone so delicate and beautiful.
I guess you could say the feeling of being wanted can overcome every other feeling.
She pulled me into her room and sat next to me on her bed, and for once, she told me what happened, she finally opened up.
"Newt, I just want to apologize for never really paying attention to you when I was with..B-Ben, and I jut feel horrible. I feel like every time I talk to you, I talk about him; and let me tell you, that's a horrible way to treat someone. I was basically using you, but I don't want to be like that anymore. I don't want to use you. I want to get to know you. I want to know your 2 a.m thoughts and your daily struggles. I want to know your opinion on life and how you feel about the stars. I want to know you."
