My eyes fluttered open to be drowned in confusion.
Newt? In my shucking dream?
What the shuck? Were we together before the maze? Maybe that's why Ben was shouting about how I wasn't his! Maybe it's because he saw Newt and I together.
No, this can't be. I-I like Ben. I love Ben. I don't like Newt, I never liked Newt, I never will like Newt.
Shuck, who am I kidding? I've always been in love with Newt.
Poor Ben. I feel terrible.
I need to talk to him, and Newt.
When I walked out of my room, it was nearly dusk. The moon was already out and even a few stars.
I saw a group of boys crowded around the maze walls which were about to close.
Has someone not gotten back yet?
I wondered.
I made my way to the group of boys and saw Chuck running in the opposite direction, shock pasted on his face. I grabbed his shoulder.
"Chuck what's going on?"
"It's Ben." He whispered, his eyes screamed I'm sorry and he ran off.
I ran toward the group of boys. Were they banishing Ben for attacking Thomas?! That wasn't his fault! It was the changing, he can't shucking control that!
Although he probably hates me, he still means the world to me, and I can't loose him. I can't let them do that to him. He promised he would never leave me, and I promised to never leave him.
When I got closer I saw all the keepers pointing their sticks at my poor boyfriend.
"What's going on? Newt?"
I knew exactly what was going on.
They were banishing him of course, they were set on it.
I couldn't let them do this.
