What the? What was he talking about now? Newt is literally going insane. He can't be a runner! His ankle is shucked up and it'll just make it even worse.
"What do you mean not without you?"
"If you're going to be a bloody runner, then I am too."
"But your--"
"I'll be fine."
I sighed defeated.
If he wants to injure himself even more it's not my fault or problem.
"Whatever." I mumbled.
Newt's POV:
Y/N doesn't understand. She doesn't understand that someone besides Ben cares for her, she doesn't understand that I care for her.
She doesn't understand that I bloody love her. She doesn't understand that Ben is gone. I care for her and her feelings more than anything, but it doesn't bloody matter how much she mopes and cries over his nonexistence, he isn't coming back.
I know it's hard for her, I know. I just wish she would give me a bloody chance because I'm trying. I've made mistakes and I'll make more, but I'm learning.
I just want to show her how much I love her. I just wish she would realize that.
