"No Ben. I love Newt, I always have." I whispered.
Ben angrily banged his fist on the table.
"Hey, calm down, I don't want you getting banished again." I forced a laugh, causing him to scoff.
"I'm sorry. I think I'm just going to go cool off a bit."
"You do that. Maybe we all should do the same."
Ben nodded and forced a smile, walking toward the watch tower.
I headed toward the gardens to find Newt picking grapes from the thin grape vines.
"Hey Newt." I said quietly.
"Hi." Newt answered quickly, not even looking at me.
"No hug or kiss or anything?"
No answer.
"Well then. Are you okay?"
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"
"I don't know--"
"Look Y/N, don't you have a job to get to?"
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me."
"What the shuck is wrong with you?! Did I do anything to you? No! So why the shuck are you going off on me?"
"Don't play dumb Y/N, you know--"
"You know what? I have a job to get to, I'm wasting my time talking to you. Later." I rolled my eyes.
Newt sighed, "Wait!"
I kept walking to the medjacks, trying to stop tears from threatening to fall out of my eyes.
Everything seems to be falling apart again.
