40. The Other (Sort Of) Sinister Plot

[Anakin and Tony have entered the chat]

Tony: Steve told me Nat is planning a Nerf war

Anakin: are you going to counterattack?

Tony: heck, yea

[Tony has invited Pepper, Jane and Thor to the chat]

Tony: guys, we are going to war

Pepper: good lord, I'm calling the helicopter

Tony: I meant a Nerf war

Pepper: well, in that case, I'll be staying

Thor: what do you mean by "Nerf war"?

Jane: Tony means we use fake guns to play a friendly war game

Tony: since when was this going to be friendly?

Jane: I meant friendly in the sense that no one gets killed in this

Thor: where do we get these fake guns?

Tony: we'll explain more later Thor. For now, who all is in?

Pepper: I'll join, but I doubt I'll be any good

Jane: same here

Tony: c'mon, you'll be fine! It's like Halo but in real life and no aliens

Pepper: or Master Chief

Jane: or energy swords

Thor: if this is going to be like Halo, then I guess I can join

Tony: great!!

[Steve has entered the chat]

Tony: what are you doing here?

Steve: I'm neutral remember?

Anakin: what difference does that make?

Steve: I'm not biased and I won't take sides

Tony: how do I know you won't tell the other team what we are planning?

Steve: Kit Kat is giving me that look

Tony: what?

Pepper: that is one strange cat

Steve: I know, it's like it can read my mind

Jane: that's not creepy

Thor: actually, it is

Jane: that was sarcasm

Steve: anyway, all I want to know is when you guys are ready

Tony: alright, we'll tell you when. Now leave so we can finish plotting

[Steve has left the chat]

Anakin: somehow, that sounded a little evil, Tony

Tony: I kinda get like that when I'm seeking revenge

Anakin: okay...?

Thor: so, what is our plan?

Tony: well, I know every nook and cranny of this tower, so I know every possible hiding spot

Jane: are we going to do a surprise attack kind of thing?

Tony: I can't say right now because we're online. Here is the location of our meeting spot. Meet me there in five

[Tony has left the chat]

Thor: sounds like he is really trying to keep this all a secret

Pepper: just do what he says and we'll be fine

Jane: okay, let's go

[Thor, Pepper, and Jane have left the chat]

Anakin: I can't wait to see how this turns out. It's gonna be epic!!!
