With my chest on fire, I began removing my clothing. Pulling on the few knots that undoes the gown. I was more pissed than I was hurt!
Bahm hadn't even chased after me! The maids did!
They followed me to my room and began running the bath water for me. As if a bath would make me feel any better about learning how my mate marked someone after I rejected him. I couldn't be more mad at myself than I was right now.
"King very lucky to have you." One of the maids spoke out while my head rested back on the tub and she shampoos my hair.
"I hurt him...not so lucky.." I say to her, trapped in a daze of regret.
My chest began burning. A pain I used to feel from seeing him with that one girl back in Witchy World.
"What is King doing?" I happened to blurt out, seeing another maiden enter my bathroom door.
"Your Highness." She exclaims
"The King is getting ready for a bath too!" The woman had a nervous smile on her face.
I would've of really liked him to come and bathe with me! Why doesn't he come and find me right now? I am sure he can hear and feel how upset I was. He just let that woman say whatever she wanted to say to me!
Even if this was my fault, I'm convinced whatever he would say to me would make me feel better. Especially since knowing he agreed to get rid of her.
She was an accident after all!
"Want to bathe with King?" The woman washing my hair says. Luisi.
The other maid that came through the door yells something in their language, but she returns me with another nervous smile.
"Yes!" I sat up and watched them both.
Another maiden to the tub side holds out a white robe for me. I stand and slip my arms through the hole and step out of the tub. Ignoring their foreign chattering.
