Chapter 26

After some shower adventures Dar'ke and I went back in the main room dried off and in fresh clothing. He needed to head off to check on Hopper then head to the mess hall. He asked if I wanted to come. Still feeling the effects from the shower I declined.

"Thank you Dar'ke but if you don't mind I think I will stay here for a bit I have the communicator so I can call you." I say with a smile

He nods at me then pauses "Chris are you making sure that you are eating?"  He seemed almost bashful about asking. It was really cute....if you could call a giant space kitty cute.

"I am fine I make sure my needs are met I have quite a bit of variety in my inventory. So I am fine. Also if you want we can do a snack tasting sometime. I wanna share with you some of my favorite treats" I say smiling to him

He chitters happily "As long as you share them with me first there won't be any issues" he teased me....I think

"Alright you need to go eat now you need your energy for leader duties and working...." I say with sly smile

Dar'ke is in full chitter laughing mode shoulders shaking in full belly laughter for a yautja"Oomans are strange but customs like that I can get accustom to. " Dar'ke chitters with a purr at the end

"GO! Eat! Shoo go get Hopper he is probably hungry as well" I say

"Are you sure you are gonna be alright Chris?" Dar'ke asks concerned

"Yes I will be fine! Oh but if I could ask one thing when you are ready to sleep come back here....its kinda difficult to sleep with out you Dar'ke" I say bashfully

Dar'ke walked over and wrapped his arms around me in a bear like hug and held on. "We could sleep now..." he says

"Nope you shoo now shoo! I helped to make a tasty meal and I want a report on it when you get back!" I say to him in a stern tone

"Fine but I am locking the door. After we finish in the mess hall we have a long training session with the young hunters. I will contact you then and if you want to join us I will send Hopper up to get you Chris" Dar'ke said

I grin and shoo him out the door. Finally having the large room to myself I stretch out my full body. I needed to start training now.

I remember when I use to do cross fit I college  I pull out a few heavy tires from my inventory.

"Okay let's do this!!!" I say to myself confidentially...

Mean while Dar'ke sends a command for the first group to go eat. He heads to bridge terminal and takes over for excited crew who passes him in the way to the mess hall.

I take a look of the holographic map and make slight adjustments to the course of the ship. It was quiet except for the hum of the machines and the occasional Chitter of the young ones that took the older ones place.

It dosen't take long for the others to get back from eating. The chattering about the improvement of food seem to boost morale.  I head off after enough of them get back and go to grab Hopper.

Who is on the floor besides his bed and messed himself "Phew Hopper what in the Paya?!?!?!?"

Hopper whines "I had an accident Dar'ke!!!"

"Need me to drag you to the shower Hopper?" I ask

Hopper shakes his head and belly crawls to his shower. I summon the cleaning robots to clean up the rest of the mess. They get here very quickly and they are in and out and even deodorizes the rooms. Thank Paya!!
