Chapter 41

I sigh as I look over at Dar'ke gauntlet. I mean the damn thing is literally graphed and wired into his arm connected to his nervous system. Now it was going to have to be fixed. I felt bad....I had no idea what I was going to say to Sooni.

We have been cleaned up and now all fresh and clean. Standing up Dar'ke comes behind me and holds me while purring. Satisfied Space Kitty, satisfied   Ooman.

"Dar'ke weren't you the one who said you weren't going to take advantage of me" I tease him

"Chris you started it...I just finished it" he purrs louder. I lean my head back into his barrel chest. Listening to the vibrations.

"Maybe, we should just stay here?" I asked a little embarrassed. Dar'ke hadn't mated very much with the other mates I felt like a mate hog...

"Chris when a Male gets a new mate, it is generally expected and encouraged to mate as much as possible to ensure that a strong blood line has been passed. They understand and to be blunt Sooni and Maini generally are cranky that the mating season interferes with their work. Tanomi ...I made a promise with her to never mate with her and Nomi was a token Mate....The only time I have really enjoyed my time mating was with Krysis and with you Chris...the small tightness of your body is very attractive and addictive" he ends his speech with a purr

I feel a bit better knowing that. Still the gauntlet needing to be repaired is gonna be a whole other issue. "So what do we tell Sooni so she doesn't string us up together in the training ground and let the pups use us as punching bags!?!" I say to Dar'ke

He Chitters "We tell the truth we were ...training" his chitters get louder as I feel my face turn crimson.

"Chris after tomorrow all major issues will be dealt with...there is no use in worrying over something so trivial right now." Dar'ke says as he turns me around in his arms and strokes my cheek with his large hand. I nuzzle into his hand.

"Okay Dar'ke I trust you and I will put those worries way for now." I sigh and wiggle my way out of his arms

"Chris where do you think you are going?" He asks a bit confused

"I will be walking besides you. I am not a pup that needs to be carried everywhere!!" I say definently to him

Dar'ke puts his hands up showing that he respects my wish. I head out the door with Dar'ke following closely behind me. We get close to hall I am suddenly tackled by a hoard of pups. Who are all excited to see Dar'ke and myself. Sooni reaches into the crowd and picks me up by the waist band of my shorts. Epic wedgie when the lady bits are super tender not fun!

"Sooni I am fine you can put me down really!!" I say as I try and wiggle out of her grasp. She just sighs put me down and then the pups swarm me again. They were super fascinated by my hair and skin they touched me as much as they could.

They were kids that were being kids, wanting to explore the new thing in they're lives. It was quite cute of them.  Lu'Nye was keeping close to me and letting off small growls at the younger pups here and there.

We get into the Hall Maini and Tanomi are all ready waiting for us. The food is served I am happy that the portion was a smaller more reasonably sized!!

A pup looks over at me and looks at my plate then back to me "Bearer Chris did you do something wrong?" I almost choked on my stew. After I regain my composure I answer...

"No little one I am not being punished. Oomans have much smaller stomachs. So if we eat to much at once our stomachs can burst and make us very sick..." I answer as honestly as I can as I have all eyes on my as I answer....its a bit nerve wracking!!
