Chapter 93

I was in the inky blackness that was my subconscious. I see a light and head towards it...as I do the blackness turns into a familiar hill, a familiar tree, and a very familiar female yautja.

Krysis walked over and embraced me, she looked more solid then the last time I had seen her. I could feel more tears falling from my face.

"Chris dry your tears, come sit with me. It's been a while since we talked." Krysis says as leads me to the tree. I sit down first then Krysis sits down behind me like a big sister!

She puts her hand on my belly and I can hear her purr. "Chris you are amazing, these are going to be very strong pups!" Krysis said to me excitedly.

"Thank you Krysis, I am doing everything I can to keep them safe." I say to her. Then I feel sadness take a hold of my heart again. I wanted to protect them more!

"Chris you are doing better then most.  You are dealing with Symptoms from Ooman and Yautja pregnancies. Honestly I expected to see more sleeping,eating getting sick, and passing out in your memories" she chittered at me teasingly.

"KRYSIS!!" I shouted embarrassedly

"Chris it's fine. I am more worried about the stress. I am happy you told Dar'ke what was going on...." Krysis started to say.

"I hear there is a but in there...." I said to her as I leaned back into her large frame.

"I am glad you are clever Chris you are going to need that. I need you to be captured by the Night thunder clan." Krysis said with a sigh.

"Is that Bru'taes clan?!?!? That insane BadBlood!?!?" I say looking at Krysis in shock.

Krysis nods to me "He won't be able to hurt you. Paya's blessing will prevent him from harming you and the pups. There is an important reason to do this."

"I am listening Krysis...I am not happy but I am listening" I say to her grumpily.

Krysis chitters "Your starting to sound like Sooni."

"Well she does put the fear into everyone. I figure I should follow her example as a bearer myself" I chuckled back to Krysis .

Krysis sighs "There is no other example that would be better for you. Back to you going to the other clan. The reason that it is needed is to return that clan to honor and have them come under the Dark Royal clan banner. " She says to me quietly

"Krysis did we hit our head or something. I am bearing right now how in the hell do you expect me to do that with out support!" I growl at her.

"Chris you an your pups are stronger then you think. You will not be alone there you will have to gain the support of Sa'ke. Bru'taes number one elite hunter. He is the next in line to take over the clan. He and his support are against this plan. If you can get most of they're clan away from the super Yautja territories. It will be in your and clan favor. Although you may spend most of your bearing away from Dar'ke. If things go well then you should be able to make it back home to birth with Sooni." Krysis says to me.

"Is there really no other way?" I ask her my eyes filling with tears.

Krysis shakes her head no "Unfortunately even Dar'ke will find out that this will be part of a mission given to you and him by the council. Failure to do so would mean death of the family and of all clan members." Krysis says sadly.

"I feel sick" I say to Krysis as I feel my guts knot up.

"I know we share the same body you know. I also feel your sadness as well Chris. This may not be best situation and it will hurt being away from Dar'ke an the family. However if it means that everyone survives, is it not worth the inconvenience?" Krysis purrs at me to make me feel better.
