Chapter 59

I lay there on the bed the pain is completely gone. Dar'ke is on his side beside me and is gently stroking my belly. I smile at him and snuggle into him.

"Thank you Dar'ke for helping me through this" I whisper to him.

"Chris I should be the one thanking you. I am honored that you want to and are willing to carry our pups." He purred to me still stroking my belly

"Dar'ke does it normally happen this fast?" I asked as we have only mated until mid day. I mean we have had mating sessions that have lasted longer hours and even days before....

He shook his head no "Chris even with Krysis it was never this fast...however I think it will probably be the normal for us. We also mate differently then others as well. We mate to be closer to one another, not just during the breeding season. That maybe is playing a large factor in this as well. " he purrs to me.

He seemed to be a very happy space Kitty. I was happy as well, still a little scared but better prepared.

Dar'ke seemed laser focused on that one spot on my belly. And very protective "Is that where our pup is in my belly?" I ask as I place my hand over his.

He nuzzled me and purred "Pups Chris.." he corrected me...wait what!!!I look over at him in a panic. "Chris it's okay its 2 of them that's very normal." He purrs to me to calm me down.

I am having twins!?!? Oh dear Paya my poor poor lady bits.

Defeated I roll into him and bury my head into his chest. "The ship is going to be very lively again." I say with a chuckle. "Sooni is going to be excited as well we should be birthing only a few weeks apart from one another. " I say happily.

Thankfully I can message Sooni and talk to her and Maini if there is any issues. I am probably going to annoy the hell out of both of them. Before the pups are born.

"Chris leave the Ooman training class to Hopper from now on...he is one of the best Ooman hunters we have. You can be there as well but you can only give tips and advice. Training is off the table for you." Dar'ke said in a serious voice.

"Is that an order Dar'ke...?" I asked sweetly

"Yes!" He growls at me then hugs me tightly.

"Well Hopper is a larger target they might have a better chance of landing a blow on him" I wonder out loud.

Dar'ke Chittered at me in laughter. I looked at him in confusion " Chris I am warning you now even with out my orders you are going to be well protected on this ship" he said while nuzzling me.

"Also since you are now pregnant we are unable to do the Ooman mission. I will send a message to the council of Elders to let them know. " Dar'ke seemed relieved

"Wait won't we lose Honor for our clan if we can't do it?" I asked suddenly feeling horrible.

"Chris there is no greater Honor then bearing pups. Also they will understand why. Also due to what happened to Krysis they will more then likely to understand the hesitancy on doing such a mission" Dar'ke said to me. I mean it made sense. I still felt bad.

Dar'ke lays on his back and gently pulls me onto his chest. I just snuggle in and he wraps a fur blanket around us. We fall into a happy glow slumber.

I awake around dinner time with Chris in my arms. She is sleeping deeply and peacefully. It already looks like our pups have found a good place inside her.

I carefully get off the bed and go shower. When I get out Chris is still slumbering ...She will definitely need to eat when she awoke. I get dress and head out the door locking it making sure her and the pups would be safe.
