I was going over reports when I get an emergency message from Maless. Infoming me that Bru'tae figure out that there was something suspicious going on and was heading our way. It would most likely take him a week to get here.

I sighed an looked to where Chris was sleeping. It was happening a little sooner then expected. However this will get us a chance to head home sooner.

I send message to the main ship to Crash to send Ceillia and Hopper down with the atmosphere adapter. We will start the evacuations in 2 days. Three Ooman ships could carry almost a full colony, so we were going to need 30 ish in total.

I hope that it doesn't effect Chris and the pups at all. I will get her to pull out one ship to start today. Ceillia can walk the females yautja on how to pilot the ships and what to look out for in case of emergencies.

Chris had mentioned that we needed an atmosphere adapter, cause although adult yautja can handle Ooman atmosphere for a week or 2 at most. The pups would not survive for that long at all.

I hear Sa'ke coming up the ramp of my ship. "Sa'ke it looks like Bru'tae will be here shortly a week at most...how did you want to do this" I asked him.

Sa'ke sighed "I guess it would be best to start the evacuations as soon as possible. " while crossing his arms infront of his chest.

I nodded "Where do want this battle to take place?" I ask him.

"I think the best move would be to challenge Bru'tae on the clan ship. That way no one will have the right to argue afterwards an will follow my orders to follow you. Otherwise they can choose to leave or death" he says while leaning against the wall. He looked into the direction where Chris was sleeping.

That irritated me to no end, I suppose with her so close to the birthing time I was a bit more overprotective...

"Dar'ke, Bru'tae will not just let me on the ship. He will want something in exchange...." Sa'ke trailed off.

"No" was all I said to him. I know what he wanted to ask! Just no!

"Dar'ke you didn't even let me finish. If you can use your new cloaking device to mimic Chris's body scans. Do you think we can use that to get by the scanner and guards? That way we can send Chris Safely with the evacuations. While we challenge for clan leadership rights?" He said to me in an semi insulted tone.

I thought about it...that could work, an would keep her safe. I rubbed my mandibles with my hand. "We can definitely see if that can work. We will test it out in a few hours." I say to him.

"Also I don't know what you were thinking before cutting me off earlier. Know this, I won't put your mate in anymore danger. I owe her and you a lot. In her current state she can bearly walk much less do anything else. Having her there in person would be a liability that Bru'tae would likely take advantage of!" Sa'ke growled at me.

I chatter at him "Well said...I am just use to foolish plans that end up with her in danger or severely injured in some way." I said to him.

Sa'ke turned to walk away not before saying "Where those plans really foolish Dar'ke... or was it just you?" As he disappeared down the ramp. In a pissy mood.

I sighed normally I would have done something rash or disciple the Pauker. In my heart though I knew he was right on some level. As much as I hated to admit it! I also wanted to prove that I wasn't like Bru'tae at all.

This clan has already been thru to much suffering already. We want to get them healthy and productive as soon as possible. Getting them home and in a better environment will help a lot with that.
