Chapter 126

Dee was standing infront of me. I could feel Dar'ke stiffen and Hopper hesitated. I knew that Dee had been injured, but I wanted to make sure he would be okay. Dar'ke had officially adopted Dee and Fa'tae as his kin. This would protect them from future instability. As well it was a gift to me as I saw them as my pups as well.

"Dee can you show me your injury?" I ask him softly. Dee was hesitating but he nodded and he kneeled onto his knees so I could be at eye level with him. He took off his bio mask and I saw the deep claw marks on Dee's head crest. That lead from one side of his head to the other side over to his now prosthetic eye.

I looked at my poor baby! He had suffered so much! I knew that Tanomi had beaten him....but I didn't realize to this extent. "Dee may I touch your head" I ask him.

I felt Dar'ke at my, Dee looked a bit scared to answer but Dar'ke took my hand and placed it on Dee's head. I traced the scar. Tanomi claw Mark's were so deep the even affect the bone underneath! I could feel tears of sadness and fury drop from my eyes.

I grab Dee and hug him "I am so sorry you were hurt like that Dee, you didn't deserve this extreme" I say to him as I cry for my Baby!

Dar'ke hugs us three together. I can feel that Dee is crying as well! His good eye was pouring tears. He didn't say anything but buried his head into my chest as sobs racked his large frame.

Dar'ke just stood slienty and held us together. As Dee's sobs subsided he pulled away "Matriarch I am so sorry you and Clan leader have suffered so much as well." He said Sincerely.

I see that he winches at the site of his prosthetic eye. "Dee, we are family now. We will be there for one another." I say to him as I gently touch just below his prosthetic eye.

"Dee are you in pain now?" I ask him

Before Dee can answer, Dar'ke speaks up "His body is rejecting the prosthetic. Crash will take it out on his return to the ship. "

"Dee can you hold on for a little bit with it in?" I ask him in concern.

Dee nods an gets up. Dar'ke scoops me up and carries me. Sa'ke looks like he just saw something insane. It looks like Hopper filled him in on the situation.

"Hopper send me the list to my gauntlet, and can you spare with Sa'ke as we fill the ship? His fighting style is closer to yours" Dar'ke says to Hopper.

Hopper then chokes down an entire roast in one bite. Nods and grabs a barrel of Brew. "I got this Dar'ke" Hopper then looks at Sa'ke "I doubt that you can land a hit on me for spill my brew" he boasted. Making Sa'ke Growl at Hopper. Cause technically they were in the same type of status.

I looked up at Dar'ke "So who do you think is going to kick who's Ass?" I Asked to both Dar'ke and Dee.

Dee looked over to Sa'ke and Hopper as the readied to spar. "I think Hopper will win, the one called Sa'ke looks to be powerful too...but the way he carries himself shows to much self doubt." Dee said while pausing to do his own self reflection.

Dar'ke nodded "That is a good assessment Dee. I think the battle will be a close on or a draw. While Sa'ke has self doubt, Hopper is over confident when he has yet to fight his opponent. That will be Hoppers down fall..." Dar'ke says wisely.

I look at both of them  "So your basically calling this a sparring match for fools that will have no true winner" I say crossing my arms.

Both Dar'ke and Dee Chatter laugh in my assessment. I kinda wanted to watch the battle of the idiot's...however there is work to be done. Dar'ke sits me on a rock and starts listing off the things that is needed. Both he and Dee load up Hoppers ship.
