Chapter 12

We are flying through the forest at an incredible rate I watch behind Dar'ke shoulder the environment is just a blurr. I don't speak much cause I don't want Dar'ke's concentration to break. Cause knowing our luck we will be on a branch and then fall face first into a cliff or something.

We had lost a day in the tree hole due to the weather and me passing out cold. I felt really bad of that as Dar'ke needed to get back to his clan. From some of the small talk we were able to do during break times. We were going to meet up with his Clan brothers Hopper and Crash.

If his blood brother Id'te is there I want to hit him myself!!! How dare he tried to Kill Dar'ke!! That sneaky bastard needs to die!! However as it was a clan matter. Although I have been adopted in via Dar'ke. Which I have learned he is the leader of!! The head honcho, the CEO, the big man!.

I basically landed myself in a dangerous situation with the buff hunt King. I snuggled into his shoulder and start to doze off. 'I need to kill another Xenomorph during the Chiva. I need to prove that I can be an asset versus a burden.' I think to myself.

I am still worried what the other yautja are going to think of me...and also how this will effect Dar'ke honor status. As that to me was far more worrisome. Cause what I learned about yautja society is that honor is really a matter of life and death.

I need to adapt as fast as I can, I don't want to die again. Also I didn't want Dar'ke to end up hurt or worse because of me. 'I need to get stronger!' I scold myself. Before slipping into a deep sleep.

As I snooze I enter a dream like state, I am back in the flower field. Its a warm day and I see that there is a tree in the middle of the field that had not been there before. I walk up to it and see..."Paya? " I ask. As this Yautja sitting down under the tree looked like her.

She shook her head and waved for me to come over. I hesitated at first cause they just confirmed they aren't Paya. Then who in the hell where they? Just then I felt a burning sensation on the mark on my shoulder. It stings like crazy pulsing with heat.

Just then I noticed that the female yautja infront of me had the same mark and it was Glowing...? "Krysis...?"
I say in disbelief.

"You are pretty smart for an Ooman Chris." She said to me chittering at me like she was just about to laugh at me.

I run up to her and tackle hug her!! Surprising Krysis who did not know how to react. "Chris...?"

"Ahhh...sorry I just needed to hug you. I heard about your story from your mate Dar'ke. And I figured I give you a hug from him" I say with a smile releasing the bemused Krysis. I sit besides her and start to ask her questions. "I figure this is a dream correct?"

Krysis nods "This is one of the few ways that you and I can communicate Chris"

I look over already knowing the answer to this question but I have to ask. "You are inside of me Aren't you?"

Krysis stares off into the distance before answering "Yes my soul is inside you Ooman. You and I are bound now until dead again."

I shivered at that last word 'again' it feels a bit bitter to both of us. "So what's going to happen now?" I ask inquisitively.

Krysis answers me with a question "what do you want to do? You are a Ooman reborn anew. Even though the great Paya gave you a mission. It is your choice whether you do it or not..."
