Chapter 31

I am in my room chilling to some music while I train. I woke up from my nap a while ago and was bored!! I feel my back and shoulder begin to burn like crazy. I turn off my music and reach back. My mark is hot to the touch!!

Just then I hear a soft thud out side my door. I open the door and see a bloodied and broken down Lu'Nye sitting with his head between his knees softly sobbing. 'MY BABY!!'

I wrap my arms around him and bring him into my room I see his blood covering my door. I make a mental note to clean that after Lu'Nye had been taken care of. ' I am gonna murder whomever hurt my baby!! ' I think to myself

I get Lu'Nye to sit on a stone stool in my bedroom. I rushed to the bathroom filling buckets with warm water, soap, I bring them out with a medikit, towels and towels I had cut up to make face cloths.

I also take out a canister of the brew and hand it to Lu'Nye. "I am gonna patch you up. It will hurt a bit. But I promise to be quick. That way the pain will go away faster Lu'Nye" I purr to him

Lu'Nye just nods and sips on the brew as I clean his back. He let's out hisses when the water and soap stings his flesh. I clean around the opening of each lash gash. I use a syringe to help prevent any infection. I pulled out a needle and thread. 'Like father like Son I had to sew them both up!' I think to my self.

Before I start to sew up Lu'Nye I pull from the first aid kit at the station the numbing stray. "This will sting Lu'Nye but it will help when I go to stitch up these wounds. Are you okay with me doing this? " I ask him softly

Lu'Nye says nothing but nods

I spray his back all over . Then I use a needle and poke an edge of a flesh flap. "Lu'Nye does this hurt to much?" I asked worriedly

"No Chris actually are you even touching me? " he asks bewildered

"Good. I will make quick work of this" I say as I stitch him back up. It takes me about 30 minute to stitch everything back together on Lu'Nyes back. I use the gel in the medikit and cover his back in it. This will keep things soft but will help heal things faster.

I come around and wrap my arms around my baby neck and pull his head against chest. I stroke and give his head crest a motherly kiss.

He puts and canister down and hugs me back. In a way that he never wanted to let me go again. Him and Dar'ke are carbon copies I swear.

"Lu'Nye I can tell from the scars on your back this has happened many times before...Nomi is the one who did this to you am I right?" I say in a growl my fury to go and skin that BITCH alive growing by the second.

"She wanted me to go see you and Maini tomorrow under the pretext that I had gotten injured by the training Sooni left for us and under Tanomi supervision. She wants to gain your favor to gain control of the the bearers clan..."  Lu'Nye says in pain

"When I arrived at the feast Nomi asked why I was so late I told her I had dropped your food. She saw that as a slight that could work against her plans to take over Sooni's spot. She came to my room and disciplined me as she has before..." he said Sincerely

My blood was boiling!! That bitch dare hurt my CHILD!!! This was not going to stand. But I had to think of a way to protect Lu'Nye he should never be hurt like this especially by a bearer member!! This was inexcusable!!

"Lu'Nye your not going anywhere tonight you are staying here. I will make a plan to keep Nomi away from you as much as possible. However if for some reason if she attaches a listening device if you come to me touch only one of your lower mandibles. Got it?" I say giving him a squeeze.
