A few days have passed an it's at the 5 day safety mark. The pups have been a handful...well more of an armful. They are now at the point of being able to roll over an crawl for short distances. My babies love to explore!

I smiled as I watched some of the older pups come in an play with them. Tanomi an Sai had brought the first group in. They were the younger 10 out of now 33 pups in total, very soon to be 35!

Jay'Ve seemed to enjoy watching his older siblings. It looked like he was taking in what they were doing. He was trying so hard to mimic speech. However since he nor Sha'On had any tusks or fangs at the end of their mandibles yet, all they could do were growls an cute popping sounds.

Sha'On on the other hand was being a little show off an being cheeky with the other pups. His sister Poppi seemed to have taken an interest in him. An she was carrying him around like he was her own! She was going to make an extra big sister! Mind you her attitude towards me was pretty foul. But she loved her new brothers.

Tanomi pointed out to me that Poppi was very fond of Lu'Nye. She didn't like that he was spending so much time with me. She was a tough little cookie, I couldn't fault her for feeling that way.

I mean it's only been a year an a half...maybe two years since I joined the family. I haven't really been around much. So I didn't think that they would have a high opinion of me anyways.

Just as they were about to leave Poppi comes up to me with Sha'On in her arms. "Bearer Chris I think it's better if the pups come live with us. That way they can learn to become yautja an not be a useless Ooman like you!" She growled at me in contempt.

Oh Poppi ...She definitely had a blunt bull crap attitude from Sooni, That's for Sure! However her bearer wasn't probably going to let this pass.

I reached out an took Sha'On from her arms. As I did Tanomi body slammed Poppi to the ground. "How Dare you be disrespectful to another bearer!" Tanomi growls at Poppi.

Poppi yelled out in surprise an pain. "Tanomi...can you please let her up." I ask her nicely. Tanomi gives me the 'okay are you sure?' Look, I nod at her. She let's Poppi up, Poppi looks incredibly shook up an shocked.

I stand up with Sha'On on my hip as Sai now has Jay'Ve. "Poppi I am very much part of this family as you are. My blood runs thru these little ones as well. You disrespecting me, is the same as disrespecting yourself an the family causing dishonor! I may not be as rough when it comes to disciple however when you return to training you must do 20 extra runs on the obstacle course! I will inform Bearer Sooni of this. I hope you use the extra time to do some self reflection" I growled her in a low tone scolding her infront of the others. She looked rather angry as well as sad.

"I will make sure that brother Lu'Nye is there to help you as you do the extra runs." I added to her. Her face went from angry, sad face to a cheerful an hiding her joyful expression.

She bowed her head down "I am Sorry Bearer Chris, I will accept my punishment in full" she said to me.

I reach out an give her a one arm hug "Thank you Poppi I look forward to hearing your report afterwards" I say to her kindly.

She wiggles out of my arm embarrassed. Tanomi was shaking her head at me. I look over at Tanomi an ask "what?"

"Only you would take such an insult to heart, you are very soft when it comes to disciplining the young ones" she said to me.

Before I could say anything Sooni arrived into my room "...Too soft I am adding another 20 rounds on top of what you had originally an this will be 40 extra rounds for Poppi for the next 5 days of training." Sooni said with a snarl.
