Chapter 94

I wake up to see Dar'kes back, an hearing him give out low growls and occasionally angry chattering. He was very angry, he was not going to be happy with what I would have to say next.

I reach out and scare the bejeezus out of my space kitty who jumps about 8 feet off the floor and launched himself into the wall. I can't do anything but laugh at the undignified space kitty.

Dar'ke gives me a playful growl and comes back to bed as I still laughing and gathers me into his arms and he purrs at me. I cuddle into Dar'ke and sigh happily.

"You look a lot better Chris." Dar'ke says stroking my cheek.

"I feel a bit better. I met with Krysis in my dream, she says everything will be fine for the pups that they will be healthy. She also sends her love to you" I say smiling at him and hug him tighter.

Dar'ke looked at me with happy and sad eyes. "I wish..." He trails off.

"I told her that you still love her deeply as well" I say kissing Dar'kes neck.

"Thank you Chris" Dar'ke says to me.

"Dar'ke I have to discuss more with you as Krysis says that it is Paya's will to go over to Bru'taes clan for a while. It's to help that clan restore honor. Apparently when you go talk to Sooni later on she will deliver news to you that the council is sending me on this mission undercover to have the leader changed over to an elite named Sa'ke. As the bearers of that clan have petitioned the council to be saved." I say to him as I feel his grip tighten on me.

"Why does it always have to be you?" Dar'ke hisses out in an angry and sadden voice.

"Apparently that is the price that I must pay for being alive and being able to be with you. I made a promise to Paya to restore the honor to yautja society." I say to him sadly.

"Wait did you get the transmitter?" I perk up a little bit.

Dar'ke reaches behind him and gives it to me I put it into my inventory immediately. He looks confused at me as I smile at him.

"We may not be able to be together however doesn't mean I can't check in with you everyday to let you know how things are going" I say to Dar'ke

Dar'ke purrs and nuzzles my head "You are very sly my mate! I will be awaiting your check in. If you miss one day I will go in to get you myself!" He growls at me protectively.

"I wouldn't expect anything less my mate!" I purr back to him.

"Chris you are forbidden from leaving this room until...." Dar'ke stammer off.

"I know Dar'ke I will make sure to rest until then. So do we know who I will be waiting for to pick me up?" I ask him curious of who was the one that Bru'tae got to.

Dar'ke nods but stays silent...

"Are you going to tell me or not?" I ask Dar'ke, not wanting to be left in the dark about who it was.

"Chris its......" Dar'ke begins to tell me but his gauntlet goes off. Dee and Fa'tae started a fight in the kitchen. Dar'ke sighed and got up and called Crash and Hopper to meet him there.

Dar'ke gets up and rests his head against mine for a second "I will tell you when I get back. Please stay here, keep the door lock do not open it unless it is me at the door got it?" He orders me.

I nod at him and lock the door as he leaves. I just hope that they would all be okay. I get off the bed and open my inventory and pull out my nest I made earlier plopping it down on to the floor.

It looks super comfy!! I open the fur blanket flap and head in. It's about as large as a 4 person tent. It's so plushie and warm...it also smells like Dar'ke. It was like a fur bubble of heaven. I pull out my phone and put on a series lay my head down and wait for Dar'ke to return.
