Chapter 166

I watched over Tanomi as she laid in my clinic. She had Sai an Bae on either side of her holding her hands. I had to force them to go get something to eat, it been a few days since Tanomi's accident. She still hasn't woken up yet.

I have been giving her fluids to make sure she stays healthy. The others have come by to check on her as well. Chris said that Tanomi would probably sleep for 5 or 10 days. It looks like her prediction is turning out to be true.

I wondered if Chris knew more then what she was saying. I wanted to ask but Sooni an Dar'ke have been hovering over her. So it hard to ask more indept questions.

Given what I saw on the recordings from Dar'ke. Tanomi shouldn't be alive right now. It just isn't possible with the injuries she had sustained...No living yautja should have been able to survive that.

Not only was she completely healed, her past injuries had healed as well. Her reproductive organs that had once been destroyed were now healed an fully intact!

I know Tanomi yearned to have pups of her own. This may be allow her the opportunity to have them. If she ever woke up she would probably would freak out.

Knowing what Chris's milk was capable of now we worked to make a better healing tonic. I was worried about Chris as she was lacking in over all body fluids about 3% of her total volume was not there. I also heard from Sooni that Chris was easily tired as well.

I wonder if she had actually used her life force to heal Tanomi. It was still a mystery, I was just grateful to have Tanomi alive an healed.

I had been busy with reports, as well as talking to my Sirer an OldOne. My Sirer agreed to take Poppi if that was what Tanomi wished. OldOne seemed more interested in Chris's purple Chicken recipe.

I headed to Sooni's room, to check on them. I head in an see Chris passed out on the bed with Green. Jay'Ve, Sha'On an Brown were running around an playing. Sooni was keeping an eye on them but looking over reports as well.

She kept looking at the ones coming out of Maini's Clinic for word about Tanomi. It looks like she still hasn't woken up yet. Lu'Nye an Tusk have taken over most of the pup duties.  Where as Dee an Fa'tae have taken turns watching over Poppi.

Sooni looked up at me an sighed. Things have been tense between us since the accident. I felt bad for Chris as she was trying to get us both to relax a bit. Chris still wasn't back to her normal self yet. With the breeding season only a week or so away I would need to make sure to keep my distance.

I am sure it would be to much for her body if she carried pups again. I know as painful as it will be for her to be in heat...its just better this way. When she goes into heat on the ship I will just have to keep her locked in our room until it is over.

Maini wanted to have pups this time. Sooni was already taking the suppressants so she wouldn't go in heat this time around. Which is good as it's best to wait 1 to 2 years between pups for female health.

Maini had checked on all the new pups. I had asked her to especially look over Green. She said they were all fine. Green was different as he had a smaller stomach, that is why he tired easier. If he snacked a lot more an grew his stomach out a little he will be fine.

That made me feel a lot better knowing that. I chittered as the pups ran between my legs an then started to climb on me. They were exceptionally strong an had a high agility level for their age.

This made me very happy, these pups had a strong future ahead if them. It also looks like Jay'Ve an Sha'On have some blessing of their own. It was hard to gauge what the full extent was for either of them but from what we know...
