Chapter 87

After having one of the best mating experiences ever. I held my sleeping mate in my arms. I could not believe my own legs gave out an took a while to get feeling back into them. I reach over and grab a cloth from the wall and clean us up. I am glad I decided to move us to the shower.

There was more sound proofing in here an hopefully we didn't disturb the rest of the ship. After I get us both cleaned up I pick Chris up and take her back to the bedroom. I grab some towels an dry her and myself off. I bundle us both under the fur blankets together. I watched Chris as she slept in the crook of my arm.

She was a very unique Mate, I am just happy to be with her like this. I think to myself as I stroke her hair out of her face. Her hair was a lot longer then when we had orginally met. At first it was at her shoulders but now it came to her mid back. She generally ties it up when she is cooking now. It was still just as soft as when I first touched it.

Although that was a few months ago it feels like a life time away...I place my free hand above the pups. They were still fluttering around in her belly. When I scanned them they now seem to have little arms and legs.

It was going to be nice to be back on the homeworld that way I can be there when both Sooni and Chris give birth. I haven't been to the birthing of my pups in a long time...I would make sure to change that too.

Chris nuzzles into me to get closer as she sleeps. I purr to her to make sure keep her sleeping calmly. Only 7 more months. Originally had planned to return at the 6 month mark but this seems to work out better for everyone.

When we pick up more of the unblooded and Lu'Nye we will start a Chiva on the planet we had used before. Once we got this Queen we would only have to seed the planet with hard meats for a week before going down.

That will work out better in the long run...

Back on the homeworld Sooni was busy fretting about.

They were all in Maini Clinic, except Lu'Nye who was looking after the pups on the training grounds.

"Sooni you need to stop worrying, we have a good plan. Chris and her pups will be fine. What I am worried about is how much this stress is affecting your pups right now!" Maini scolded Sooni.

Tanomi was snickering at the scene. Usually it was Sooni scolding everyone to see Maini take charge was a different story. She thought to herself.

"Hopefully that young blooded one and OldOne can prevent the kidnapping altogether. However we should be prepared incase Chris ends up onto Bru'tae ship." Sooni says worriedly.

"Is there anyway we can track his main ship?" Tanomi asks

Sooni shakes her head no "They recently came into new technology that it makes them almost impossible to track. They haven't submitted the full report to the council yet. An if they go thru with their plan they will be written off as bad blood....so that will be a loss cause. Chris still has her tracker in her inventory. However that has a short range, so not sure how much help that will be." Sooni says with a concerned sigh.

Tanomi taps her claws on the table. "I am gonna take Sei and Bae with me. They are both excellent trackers and should be able to get they're scent. Dar'ke gonna be a mess you realize this right?" Tanomi points out to Sooni and Maini.

"Let me handle Dar'ke, as long as we can keep his rage in check and focused on moving forward it should be fine." Maini States bluntly

"Maini! How can you be so matter of factly!! We could lose them!" Sooni Shouts at Maini angrily.
