I watched the display that Alexi was putting on. She had made more slanderous remarks about Hopper an Vil'Lai that I had to interrupt her repeatedly. To keep on to the facts about what happened. This made her more defiant, Making her talk more. She thinks she is winning, it seems like that now. I need to make a bit more of a push.

"Alexi if you do not explain yourself properly. I will have you ejected from this pavilion! Did you, or did you not know the risks that your plan would have!" I roared at her hitting my combistaff on th stone again. The Crowd seemed to look at me with hate in their eyes.

Alexi stood as tall an proud as she could as she stared at me "I did, Shi'Va provided me the data. Although untested it was a risk I was willing to take for 'MY' family, for MY Clan. So what if a Ooman male almost died? We had a few more around I could just try it again. The life of an Ooman is not generally worth much in yautja society. You should know Brother Dar'ke, you have many Ooman trophies..." Alexi mocked me.

It was true most Yautja couldn't care less if a Ooman lived or died. That was just a fact. "What about if your Mate Crash has permanently went insane, or worse. We would have had a brother passed by dishonorable means that was not within his control..." I said, I could see the crowd starting to sway.

"So what? Just like Ooman males can be replaced, so can Yautja males...with a large family base like ours. It wouldn't take long to find a replacement. Speaking of which Sa'ke although you look bored, your in need of a family base." Alexi said too boldly. I heard Sa'ke suddenly gag from his seat.

Siri stood up in anger "Watch your mouth Sa'ke is my mate! I am his Matriarch. How dare you make such a suggestion in a place like this!" Siri was pissed she was shaking with fury.

"I was told to only speak the truth...which I have done. There is no stain on my honor. Wouldn't it be better to have a Matriarch that is actually able to bear pups, then a dried up old hag...?" Alexi taunted Siri.

Sa'ke grabbed Siri an sat her back down in her chair. The crowd was now turning on Alexi. Her arrogance will be her down fall.

"Unless you have real power you can be replaced. Honor is nothing with out the power to back it up. Besides it's clear that Sa'ke has power, he just needs help in executing it. Since my former mate will not be an issue I see no point in mincing words." Alexi said as she reached a hand towards Sa'ke.

I had to hit my Combistaff against the stone again to settle the now angry crowd. "Sister Alexi is there anything else you would like to say?" I ask her.

She shook her head "Not really...but I do expect to be properly compensated after this trial...Brother Dar'ke" she said in a mockingly tone to me. I just nodded.

"Bring out our Brother now! Let us hear his side, an his reasoning" I roared. I was met by several other males in my roaring. This was a good sign. I just hope Chris was right about Singhs Sharp tongue...

I was holding on to Crash's hand tightly. We were able to hear everything clearly. Ohhhh Alexi does not know who she is up against. I looked up at Crash who looked a bit stone walled. "Crash we can get through this...trust me. After this we won't have to see her ever again" I said to him as I squeezed his hand. He nodded slowly an squeezed my hand back.

Simple gestures like this made my heart flutter. Dee gave us the signal an we walked hand in hand to the center pavilion. The crowd that had been loud before, was dead slient. You could have heard crickets if they were here.

We went to the right side, a lot of yautja eyes were on us. The whispers an chitters started when the saw we were holding hands in public. Crash stood on the square on the right I saw his ankles tied to the ground.
