I left the room and headed towards the kitchen. Dropping off the trays and meeting OldOne. "Dar'ke did you make sure that the Matriarch is resting?" He asks me with a questionable chitter

"She is sleeping in our room, I will make sure if she needs to have a nap in the kitchen that she will follow your orders OldOne." I say to him a bit tired myself

"Make sure you rest as well. You are not as young as you use to be. Keep in mind with the Mate mark you and Chris may have similar symptoms" he rattled off at me. OldOne was getting to be like my bearer.

"I can handle a bit of tiredness. I am now heading down to train the unblooded and young bloods with Crash. When I am heading back I will stop by to pick up our meals. I will be eating dinner with Chris in our room."  I say in hope that what little time we had together today would not be disrupted.

OldOne nods then shoo's me out of the Kitchen and closes the door. Some things will never change. I head down to the training room and Crash has already started the training. He was showing clips of the fighting style we would be using today.

They seem to understand better. When we got to the physical practice they seemed to do a lot better. There seemed to be less injuries over all. Also a few of them looked to want to learn better techniques as well as keep the training going on. Versus normally them trying to escape earlier to attend to injuries and or rest before they took over the shift change.

It seems this way of training was creating excitement and eagerness. It's been a long time since I have seen many clan members like this about training. I give the announcement to the whole.... that we will be hunting the rare species on the planet we will be arriving to shortly as well that there will be Oomans that will be there.

Following Chris's example to get them excited. I would offer to any 10 clan members that got the most trophies they would be gifted with custom armor when we returned back to the homeworld. Noting that Myself, Crash and Hopper trophies would not count towards the contest.

You could hear the roars of approval all over the ship. The young ones who just finished training were going out of the hall now.

"Dar'ke you sure we will have the Materials to do this?" Crash asked

I nodded "With what we plan to hunt and Chris's storage we will have more then enough materials to pay the elders, get them they're armor, as well as maintenance on the ship."

"Dar'ke just be careful relying on Chris's storage to much. If something were to happen to her we could be in a lot of trouble very quickly" Crash warned me.

"I understand that, and I have other methods just in case Crash...I will make sure that the clan is looked after" I said to him before leaving the hall myself.

I headed back to kitchen, OldOne already had our trays ready. He also had a green juice for Chris to drink. It smelt awful but the herbs he used were the ones that promoted health. I remember Krysis use to hate the stuff, however she would drink it anyways. All of our pups has been very healthy when born. I just hope Chris can handle it.

I head in to our room and Chris is still fast asleep. In the same spot I saw her when I left not even a hair was out of place. I put the trays down and head over to the console. I send the scan over to Maini along with a brief description on what is happening. Eating is now to normal Yautja portions, no more excess hunger. Concerned that she was still sleepy and tired all the time.

Maini sent back that she would check with the Oomanologist to see if that was normal. As well as to make sure Chris was eating.

I felt tired I had a few hours to kill. I had hoped to have some fun with Chris but...Sleep was definitely needed especially since I was going to be doing bridge duties tonight as well.
I crawled into bed and wrapped my warm mate into my arms. She just snuggled into my chest and never woke up. I set an alarm on my gauntlet and surrender to sleep.
