The trial would begin in a few hours, I was a bit nervous. Even though I was the one who chose this route to go. I was still worried about the fall out with my other mates. I had still remained imprisoned on the ship as a voluntary manner.

Since Singh arrived a few days ago he hasn't left my side. I was still apprehensive having him around. However he would shout out me to bring me back to my senses.

Mind you we have been able to complete 5 different projects. An thought of 12 different improvements to the ship. I had taught Singh how to use the ships console an gave him a user access.

He was very excited an was going through the data at....well at my pace. I still was myself, but I could tell I was changing a little. I am sure it was from the influence of  having Singh here.

Hopper had poked fun at me earlier about being the same as him an Dar'ke.

I let out a little growl. Singh comes up an pokes my head crest. "Crash if your brain is overwhelmed take a break...if your worried about the trial. Don't be!All the key judges are on your side. Plus Chris had given helpful information to sway the crowd in our favor. I honestly don't understand why Dar'ke prepared a ship for Alexi. She should be stripped an casted on to a deserted planet!" Singh huffs out angrily.

I shook my head "The laws are generally more in favor of females. Having a ship prepared with supplies is a precaution. Whether I am sent on it or Alexi it will help to provide that individual with the means of survival." I say to Singh as I look out the window.

To be honest it could really go either way. A lot of Matriarchs were siding with Alexi. They see nothing wrong with what she did. I know a lot of the male heads side with me...however with the breeding season being about 10 to 9 days away. They may side with their Matriarchs to have successful season.

Shi'Va has stepped up as a temporary Matriarch of our family. I wasn't happy about that decision. But her honestly on the situation that happened, did prove that she was honorable an trustworthy once again.

In protest of the trial all my female mates are taking suppressants this year. Considering I have 113 living pups. It might be better for my mates to focus their attention on the pups that are still here.

Singh had brought to my attention about the difference in training style. From Dar'kes compound to mine. Even though they are under the same teaching plan the way that the females execute the material is vastly different.

Regardless if my mates refuse to have more pups, I will still support them to the fullest. I will not ignore my duties as a Male head. I will just refocus my energies in making sure that the current pups all live to adulthood. It was a bit of a gamble...

"Chris are you sure you are going to be okay with the Pups?" Sooni asked me for the 50th time already. She was sitting on the couch an going over the details of the trial procession.

"Sooni I will be fine, Tanomi , Sai an Bae are with the majority of the pups. I will take our pups from this season down to play with their siblings while you an Dar'ke are at the trial." I said to her calmly as I gave her a hug from behind an kissed her cheek.

"Are you going to be okay Sooni, this stress isn't good for you while you are bearing" I said to her as I stroked her head crest. She gave me a little purr.

"I wish that you were coming with us to be honest Chris..." Sooni sighed.

"Sooni you are the main Matriarch of not only our family but the entire clan! If I show up with you and Dar'ke it could compromise your position with the other Yautja clans. Not to mention that you would have an obvious basis towards Oomans. Which could be very bad for Crash..." I say to her as I rest my chin on the top of her head.
