I was enjoying the sorbet that Chris had dropped off to me. She has been stopping by now everyday for the last 3 days.

I was deeply intrigued with her inventory of ancient food, its history was calling me! I was thinking of seeing if I can use the seeds to maybe create a green house on the clan ship or even one back at home...

I realize over this past week what my feelings truly were. An I had a home here, I wanted to talk to Crash. However Maini has prevent that, she was deeply concerned about my mental health.

It was either stay here and be bored into insanity or head into chaos an possibly have a breakdown from which there is no return....

The wiser choice being the boredom, I was free to walk around the compound. Even though it is similar built like Crashs the atmosphere comparatively is night an day! It was much more relaxed here. The training was similar, but they allowed for mistakes an proper growth ...to take the time to properly teach why it was wrong or how to improve. The females over at Crash's compound were very militaristic. An mistakes were met by punishments.

There were definitely less mates here, although there was outside help, the smaller family structure seemed to work in their favor creating stronger offspring. Who will probably have a better chance of reaching adulthood an having pups of their own... even though there are less over all pups.

The pups that they do have probably have a 70% if not higher chance of survival then say the pups at Crash's compound that under current conditions only about 20% to 30% may even make it to adulthood.

As I am wandering around I get lost in my own thoughts 'If the family structure shrinks a little an a better approach is taken with the pups. Could we not have more of them survive. I mean they would be my step children, but if they have a brilliant mind like Crash has I want to make sure that they are properly nurtured...hmmmm'

I absentmindedly walk into a short wall going tripping and falling head first. I am caught by the back of my shirt and brought back up right. I turn around to smack my nose into the chest of a young male Yautja. My hands shake I clasp them together. An I take a big step to the side. He looks similar to the leader...but younger?

"Thank you for saving me there. I wasn't watching where I was going?" I say to him.

This one rolled it eyes at me!?!? How rude! "Ooman you should be careful where you are wandering. Even if you are a guest you should be more aware of what is going on around you" the young male said gruffly to me.

I was just about to give this rude yautja some advice of my own when I was interrupted by Chris waving at us. I saw that the males expression soften instantly when he saw her. She had a way of almost making them tame...

"Hi Guys! Oh Lu'Nye you found Singh that's great!" She said with her beaming smile. She should get that registered as a blinding weapon!

"Let me do some introductions, Singh this is my eldest son Lu'Nye, Lu'Nye this is Singh, Crashs Ooman mate. It's good for you two to meet like this. In a month time when we leave to hunt we will be working in the kitchen together. Make sure to get along with one another. Lu'Nye please be 'nice' to Singh" the emphasizes on nice is just like when my mother use to scold me in front of others but was trying to be sneaky about it.

Lu'Nye huffed at me an nodded. "I need to leave soon to switch shift with Fa'tae. Are you sure you are gonna be okays helping Sai with the pups tonight?" He asked Chris.

"We will be fine. Plus Sooni said she would come down with the pups if there were any issues. Now go get something to eat an get ready. If OldOne is the one left waiting for you if you are late again, you won't be let off so easily" Chris said as she hugged the male. He seemed to sigh an give into her demands. He waved good bye an left us.
