Exploring the ship was so cool! Also space toilets are amazing. Hopper kept laughing at me the more we explored. No wonder he gets hit all the time by Crash and Dar'ke!

"I can't believe you Chris, you've never seen a space toilet before? " Hopper chittered at me.

I put my hands on my hips definently and scold him." No in my universe earth hasn't advanced enough to have something like that for the general population Hopper! Not all space faring spices poop equally!" I joked scolded him. He was like a little brother except he was practically double my height.

"Well wait till the Chiva is over and we rejoin the mothership. Mind you I am pretty sure Dar'ke is gonna have you confined to his room for your safety while we travel back home." Hopper says excitedly

"This is the first time we have been back home in ages for the mating season. I have 20 mates and 130 pups I wanna see how they are doing" Hopper said Happily

I looked at Hopper "Is it normal to have that many? " I ask hesitantly

Hopper nods enthusiastically "Yeah the more honor and glory the greater number you are allowed and even the elders push some females onto you as well. Crash and I are clan leaders ourselves we have sub clans that joins with Dar'ke Clan quite frequently. Our clans are rather famous within the yautja society. Oh Crash has about the same amount of mates as I do but only 80 pups"

I pause and I have a question I wanna ask but I don't wanna seem rude...since Dar'ke had only few mates....

Hopper reading my face sighs "If your worried about Dar'ke stop it! You will be fine. The reason Dar'ke doesn't take on mates like the rest of us is because of Krysis. Although he is the most skilled and has the most honor due to the Mate mark its difficult to have pups with another. Between Dar'ke Mates Sooni has 21 pups Maini has only 10 and Tamoni has none Nomi has 1 that is Dar'ke oldest living pup. Not gonna Lie if Krysis had still been alive they have about 60-70 pups." Hopper pauses and is amused by my shocked expression before going on.

"The council been trying to push Dar'ke to get another Mate or mates. I think they want him to get 20-30 to help keep bloodlines strong. I bet they will be surprised when they know about you Chris! Mind you they probably seen the videos we sent so they probably know what Dar'ke intentions will be. Gonna be honest Dar'ke only wanted 1-3 mates. He prefers to hunt however I have a feeling he will keep you as close as possible" Hopper just rambled on

My mind begins to spins, there was a lot of information to unpack there. Hopper keeps on rambling more about the political aspect of mates and keeping clans in check. Honestly my mind checked out. I was inwardly happy to hear about Dar'ke, but also scared as well. I never thought about having children before. Would it even be possible? If so would they be accepted by Yautja society or thrown away? My heart felt a deep sadness at those thoughts.

"Chris....Chris!!" Hopper waves his hand infront of my face bending down. "Did you hear what I said?"

"Uhhhhh" I flushed embarrassed

Hopper shakes his head amused "We are only on the ship, we are not in space yet. So don't space out. We have incoming injured blooded warriors. I need you to assist with getting them stable with me."

I nod and ask "what can I do to help?"

Hopper said "Great attitude Chris, honestly not much as the healers will do most of the healing. However can you hand out canisters of that brew that like c'ntlip to the patient's? It will keep the complaints down and they will look more at you in a favorable light. Also if they have trophies with them do not touch them. This is a big deal! "

I nodded at Hopper then ask " Is there a little room I can go in and out of to bring the brew to to them? Dar'ke wanted me to hide my inventory abilities"
