POV: Donato

I pulled up at one of my hotels and got out of the car. I texted Hunter this morning after showering to come to meet me here.

Since the warehouse as already been bombed and a man killed there, I didn't see it fit to discuss business shit. I got in the elevator and pressed the button to the top floor, terrace.

I got to the terrace and Hunter was already there. "Good morning." I said, sitting down in front of him.

"Good morning. What happened? Why did you call me in a hurry?" He asked me as I noticed hickeys all along his neck.

"Nice tatts, Hunter." I said, pointing to his neck.

"Did you lose your vision? Those are hickeys."

"I know, dickhead. You didn't need to rub it in my face that you got laid."

"Donato, that's what happens when you have s girlfriend. What happened tho?" He asked. A girlfriend???!?

"A girlfriend?!? Don't you think you're taking too much advantage of your job?"

"Who said I couldn't make Jewel my girlfriend?"

"It's Jewel? Wow." I made a weird face. Weirdo with a dickhead? Great.

"Who else?"

"You used your job in a great way." I eye-rolled at him. "Your job was to watch her every move, not fuck her."

"Oh please, shut up. Your job was to just hire Hayley and then let her go. What did you do, huh?"

"There was an attack at the warehouse, you know about that?" I eye-rolled.

POV: Hunter

Yeah yeah, go ahead and change the topic. "I do know about that. Any update on Dario?"

"Killed him. He was in link with a Spanish gang. Xavier Perez is the leader." I nodded, listening to him.

"What do we have to do with him now?"

"I have a theory that He sent Santiago after I threw him out."

"I don't understand"

"I think Santiago and Dario started working for him after I threw them out."

"Possible, Donato. You know how close Dario and Santiago were." He nodded.

"I want to locate him if he is in New York. I want him found."

"New York is a big arse city. We need something to shortlist from."

"Thought so. I think we should keep an eye out at the ports. The stolen shipment was found there."

"You think they were about to smuggle our shit to them?" I asked him. He nodded a yes. "Yeah then keeping an eye out is what we can do, we don't have any proof."

"Let's go to the port office, maybe there would be a record of any Spanish ship or boat." I nodded to him and got up. We both went down from the elevator and to the car.

When we got to the port office, there was commotion everywhere. We went to the port office's main cabin. I knocked on the door and no one answered. Donato went around and knocked on a window. Then he came back.

"We need to wait, that guy is gone somewhere."

"I don't have much time Donato. I have to go at 4 pm"

"Don't be such a diva for fuck's sake. It's fine if you don't watch over Jewel for a day." I eye-rolled at him. "Or should I say your 'baby'."

"I hate you, bitch" I eye-rolled at him and he chuckled.
"Don't tell me you proposed her with that going on one knee shit and all."
"I proposed to her in the shower, after sex."
