POV: Hayley 

Dimitri came over an hour ago and he had breakfast with me and Dona. Dona stood beside me, putting on his wristwatch as I sat on the couch. Dimitri sat next to me, going through the rumor slips I gave him. 

Someone's phone dinged and I turned to face Dona. He reached for his phone and looked through it. "There's been a new response." 
"What is it?" I asked, catching his and Dimitri's attention. 

"A threat." He showed me his phone. "I've been threatened. There's a bounty out for me." He said, running his hand through his hair. "Fuck, I need to go to the warehouse." 

"Wait, I'll come with you," I said and stood up. 
"No, stay here with the kids." 
"Dona-" 
"Hayley." He shut me up with a stern look. 

I sighed and sat back down. "Call me when you reach the warehouse." 
"Surely." He responded and I felt him peck the top of my head. 
"Can I come with you?" Dimitri asked. "This threat feels accurate after seeing these nasty rumors." 

"It's fine, man," Dona said to him. "I'll call you when I reach it." He said and went out of the mansion. I exhaled a deep breath and suddenly felt something fill my throat. Fuck, no. I shouldn't have eaten that bacon. 

I stood up and ran to the kitchen sink. I puked out all of it and turned on the water tap. I washed my mouth and felt a hand rub my back. "What's wrong with you now?" Dimitri asked, pulling my hair back. 

I sort of missed Jewel now. She knew how to deal with this nausea. Hunter and Jewel left early morning, leaving me with baby supplies, milk bottles, and the kids. "I will never eat bacon again." 

I said and stood up, grabbing some paper towels and wiping my mouth. "Why?" He questioned as we both sat near the kitchen table. 
"Porque estoy embarazada.(Because I'm pregnant.)" 
"¿estás bromeando no? (you're joking, right?)" He said, his eyebrows frowning a little. 

"No," I answered and looked him dead in the eye. He simply nodded. 
"Hope your baby lives through." I nodded, trying to get his words out of my head. I didn't even need to ask him what he meant by that. 

"Tell me about the next step." He said, handing me the rumors slip back. "After Tissaia is caught." 
"We have this man named Suleiman who is also after Tissaia. He will take care of her and get Xavier's location out." 

I said to him. "That guy can be trusted?" 
"He can be," I said and my phone started to buzz. I stood up and took my phone out of my pocket. 

Why is he calling me? I picked it up. "Hello," Suleiman spoke from the other side of the call. 
"Yeah," I spoke. I didn't want to speak to him right now. 
"Armani asked me to come to his warehouse, send me the location." 

"When did he ask you?" I questioned him. I knew better than to give Dona's location without any problems. 
"Just a few minutes before. He called and then suddenly hung up. Just shut up and send me the location." I rolled my eyes at his words. 

"Alright," I said and hung up. I texted him the location of the warehouse. Dona was there so it shouldn't be a big issue. Still, I texted Dona that Suleiman was coming. The text was taking a while to go through. 

I put my phone down on the table and looked up at Dimitri. "Suleiman called. He's going to the warehouse too." He nodded and looked through his phone. I started to feel anxious when I checked my phone again after 15 minutes. 

The text still didn't go through. Dona didn't call me, he should've reached the warehouse by now. Maybe it was all in my head. I stood up and went to the kitchen. I started making myself and Dimitri sandwiches.
