At work?

POV: Hayley

"Maybe talk later now? I need to go wear something." I said to him and walked to the door.
"Meet me at the garage, I need you at the warehouse." He said and I nodded a yes. Then went out of the room and to my room.

I went to the closet and wore a pair of blue jeans and a plain black top then dried my hair and made it into a bun. Wore a pair of simple black shoes and went downstairs. He was standing near the table, looking at his phone and eating an apple.

I went to the counter and made myself a bowl of cereal then started eating. "You know you can eat more than that right?" I asked him as he finished his apple. He came to the sink and washed his hands and wiped them.

"I will at the warehouse, it's time-wasting here." I eye-rolled and put the bowl near the sink and went to the garage with him. He sat in the car and so did I.

"What's my task for today, Boss?"I bite my lip and let out a soft chuckle. He eye-rolled and started driving.
"Learn to stop calling me boss first." He said and drove out of the garage.
"Fine. What's my task now?" I asked him, holding in my laugh.

"I'll give you a profile of a policeman, I need you to track him and get him to the basement." He said.
"Why? Won't it be stupid to bring a police officer to the mansion?" I asked.
"He has been spotted near the warehouse area, I think he found some evidence against the gang. I want you to scare and shut him up and always keep an eye on him." I nodded a yes.

"Which department is he from?"
"I'll give you the file and you can see it for yourself." He said and I became quiet. We soon reached the warehouse. I got out of the car and so did he. Then we went to his cabin in the warehouse.

He sat down on his chair and took out a blue file. He then handed that to me and I looked through it. "78th Precinct department? You'll have him by midnight max." I said and took the man's photo out then put the file on the table.

"Ok, but call me if you find something valuable."
"Will do," I said and went out of the cabin. I then went to the bullet. He kept them in the backside of the warehouse. Then drove off to the 78th precinct police department.

POV: Donato

I started looking through arms shipments records after Hayley left. It was time I calculated the cost of these boxes. I started doing that. Hunter called soon after Hayley left, he said he dropped Jewel at her office and was near the location, keeping an eye on her.

It had been two hours to that, now it was almost 2 pm. I talked with a few guards and told them to search the city's outskirts to find any clues about Xavier. I have to say that man is good at hiding, I've been searching for him since Hayley told me about him but I couldn't pinpoint him.

My phone rang again and it was Hunter. "Yes? Are you fre-"
"I can't find Jewel! Donato-I-I lost her!" He started shouting.
"Woah!Woah! Calm! What happened!?" I asked him.
"It was her break and she was going to come out and meet me-I-"He said and his voice was breaking.

"Hunter! Calm the fuck down and tell me!"I shouted at him.
"I can't! Her things are here but she isn't! I tried calling, texting, everything!" He said and my phone dinged again, he sent me pictures of her things.
"Hunter, send me your location, I'm coming." He cut the call and sent me his location.

I went out and got in the car and drove off to her office. When I got there, Hunter was standing right outside the door, with her purse and belongings. I stopped the car and got out of it. "The staff said she went to the restroom and was never seen again." He said to me.

"Get in the car, Hunter. Let's go search for her and track her down." I said to him and we both got in the car. Hunter took the driver's seat and I sat on the passenger's seat.
